Also huge fan! Grew up with this. I’m actually only 38 and reason I loved this music is: I used to steal my dads cd’s haha.
So I live in Australia and through my teens, early 20’s, we were bogans. Cars, burnouts, 80s music, getting drunk, it was what we did. My group of friends loved 80s too. It goes to show how good 80s music really is.
Haha, reminds me of the hangover.

Similar story with me. I’m only 33, born at the tail end of the 80’s so I never got to see it personally… But I grew up with “Old” parents lol. My ‘contemporary’ music as a kid was all stuff from before I was born. I had no issue with that to be honest.
