Why is it excessive? I really don’t know what goes into adding a new patch like this so I have no idea if it’s excessive or not.

I have work so it doesnt matter to me.
prolly be less they’ve been having early to on time maints every here and there
EQ vanilla would patch 8 hours. Come up for an hour…crash. back up next day. Caught some fish and mowed the grass.
My only issue with some of these patch is when they do it, like in the middle of the day instead of like during the night when nearly nobody plays, like this the game would be back up in the morning instead of being up at around 6 pm for some of us which mean I won’t be playing today at all sadly.

Scheduled 8 hour maintenance on patch days has been the standard for many years now, and it’s been this way for every phase in Classic too.

literally every time there’s a major patch it’s an 8 hour maintenance period.
you mean patch it when nobody is in the office?
so the servers come on when everyone starts getting home from work? sounds pretty good to me
i went outside once graphics was ok game play was terrible 4 outta 10 do not reccomend.
