They cooking, they have to be, I think they gonna lay all the Shaman stuff on us at once, Stormbringer and Totemic + reworked adjusted Talent Trees for class and Specs!.

I hope too cause im torn between few classes but I dont really like their Resto rework for not sure im gonna main my Resto this expact. And if I dont its gonna be an Arcane bear I think. Really wish they would make Lunar bear follow you but well cant ask for the moon it seem XD
They prob need to rework talent anyway since they want to make Healing rain totem for Totemic which I love. But it would need to synergize with other water based totem talent that we got
I think there are a lot of us that may or may not stick with shaman next expansion depending on the info they release “in the coming weeks”.
Whether it be a playstyle they feel forced into, tired of being squishy, tired of being one of the few classes with hard target caps, or any number of other things people are sick of, many people are fed up wth the limitations designed into this class with no positives to offset them.
I feel like some hero talent are amazing while other are kinda meh.
For Farseer I think turning Elemental (Storm/Fire) into your Ancestor instead of random proc would make the play much better.
Better control over when you wanna use it and all. For resto is stay the same added to unleash life.
But for Ele if you tie it to your Elementals there is way to make it really good. Ancestor would benefit from both Buff from Storm/Fire Elemental, and any other buff from them on the tree.
For Totemic I really hope the Healing wave casted fro the new totem consume Tidal wave. If not I feel like its a little missing out. Or free stats from the elemental blast for enhance.
The new weapon/shield Imbue is kinda nice but if it doesnt allow you to put 2 weapon imbue on a 2hand for resto its pointless. What If I wanna transmog a staff let say. Am I force to not too cause I lose 1 imbue
Yeah, there’s several if not several dozen things both the PvE and PvP communities are both in agreement on and I’m praying the Devs read the feedback carefully and consider making the gameplay more fluid because shaman is the clunky class.
I was pretty bummed about another totem keybind, I thought the would replace totems or make totems do something different.
Another specific key bind for a very soecific situation is not what anyone wants or needs.
I personally dont mind if the totem does act as my healing wave. And proc my Tidal buff and mastery. If not well meh its kinda ok I guess
This is my major concern at the moment when seeing the datamined talents from Totemic, but it’s really hard to engage how bad/good it will be until we get more info on how the class/spec trees turn out.
From all the changes in Alpha a lot of pruning and QoL changes are happening pretty much across all classes, so I’m still optimistic and hopeful good things coming for Shaman as a whole.
More importantly I’m hoping to actually see Stormbringer/Totemic trees are sooner rather then later so testing and proper feedback could be given, my biggest fear is that due to shorter testing things may not be entirely ready for launch and going to be a “we’ll fix it during expansion patch’s”.
I would much rather we have like … earth shock visually. It would feel better. The whoosh from elemental blast just feels bad.
Agreed. I like earth shock way more. Even if elemental blast was instant cast I’d still prefer it. The feedback and aesthetic is just better to me.
To me elemental blast feels very generic. I understand why its good mechanically, but thematically I want lightning and earth- stuff other classes can’t do.
Personally I love it and think it’s the best looking spell in our arsenal. The Frost, Lightning and Fire flying out and slamming into my target looks so nice. But for a spender it hits like soggy bread
