8.3 not until 2020

I could play DOOM Eternal…oh

Well RDR2 for PC on Steam…Oh

…and the anniversary event only takes 2-3 hours to complete everything there is to do and offers zero replay value. So what do you suggest people to do with the remaining 1458-2187 hours of the event?

8.3 is terrible from what I have experienced so far on the PTR and I didn’t mind BfA up to this point in time.

I will be taking a pass on most 8.3 content.

You could farm those anniversary raids for transmog or gear for alts.

Once they fix the bugs they should go pretty fast.

Anyone who expected 8.3 in 2019 was kidding themselves. They’re not going to make a 5 month raid tier.

When’s shadow expansion release? Is their a date?

some time before the end of 2020 no release date.

Dang was hoping April… take time off :joy:

What don’t you like? Is it the new gear? Or just specific content? Tell me!

I’m really worried too because I’ve enjoyed bfa up to this point as well…and if something breaks the game I’ll feel like I failed along with blizz lol

I hate those assaults and the need to grind a legendary at this stage of the expansion. Nothing I have seen in that patch interests me really.

Although I can understand now why they thought a legendary grind was okay if they aren’t planning on releasing Shadowlands for another year.

Some of us dont celebrate thanksgiving either.

I don’t. And ive been bored waiting for this patch for a month already. Ive been playing other games. I want to play this one but there aint crap to do in it.

Yeah I forgot all about the stupid legendary cloak thing. I don’t even know why they label these things as legendary when everyone is gonna have one.

I swear i called a stupid grind when I saw wrathion chillin in the heart chamber a few months ago.

Way too predictable. Oh well :woman_shrugging:

as i said, zero replay value beyond 2-3 hours.

I still don’t understand what your point is. There is replay value beyond 2-3 hours if you want it.

This . i am absolutely staggered that people thought it would come before January.

I mean… one could argue that they COULD’ve been able to release all the content without the raid yet… wouldn’t be the first time they’d have done this.

Though I really feel for those who are really really excited for allied race DKs and/or new Allied races… could argue to give people the opportunity to make their new chars and give them enough time until the raid releases to catch up on those :woman_shrugging:

We just had 8.3 come up on the PTR like what, two, three weeks ago?

If raid testing had been done on EVERY boss already, and Corrupted Gear had actually been iterated on, like maybe, maybe I could buy a late Nov/early Dec, but with PTR in such an early iteration there was no way it was going live before the holidays, and I don’t think Blizzard have ever released a raid during them.

My guess, based on their previous history is that we can expect a mid Jan 8.3.

8.3 will probably be live for 6-8 months before pre-patch, which will be 6-8 weeks.
earlty Sep 2020 at the absolute earliest is my prediction for Shadowlands, mid/late Nov 2020 at the absolute latest.

With a very small chance in that they need extra time and extend 8.3 to a longer tier length like they did SoO, ICC, Dragon Soul, etc, and then we see Shadowlands very early 2021.

Good thing I decided to wait on grinding for vulpera rep. Now I will be gaining 15% more rep woop

I did this. I’m still partying. Get a heineken in ya.

I seriously doubt that. What would that even mean? No season 4 dungeons/PVP? No gear? No cloak? No corrupted gear? No more essences? No raid? You’re going to keep playing but not do any of that content? I am… skeptical.

See you in 8.3, bro.
