I still have so much to do I’m glad there is a wait.
Not sure why anyone expected otherwise honestly.
Releasing a raid tier right before the Holidays is never good for anyone, meaning it would have to be out like first week of December.
And as that’s usually not out until 2 weeks after patch, that would mean patch was in 2 weeks lol.
That’s obviously not coming.
As soon as they announced the anniversary was lasting until Jan 6th I was like “oh okay, patch that week for sure then.”
Fine by me, all i do lately is mount/xmog runs. Leaves time for other games (Zelda, Fire Emblem, FFXIV and pokemon in 10 days) so im good.
I figured the same. This isn’t new territory, I don’t get why people are so bothered by it. Plenty have families, as do Blizz employees. To release something major over the holidays would be dreadful to them if things didn’t 100% go as planned.
Personally, it’s cool for me. I wanted to level up a pile more toons to try to decide what covenant to choose since I ultimately want to experience all four at some point. The added time to this experience boost will help that so much!
Don’t buy Pokémon. The Pokédex nonsense is insane. Game Freak needs a wake up call.
Exactly. There is so much maintenance and fixes that need to go into place following a patch drop, it would be brutal around the holidays for blizzard. Good on them for treating their employees with at least some respect.
Are you not a fan of classic?
Why aren’t you 60 yet?!
Yep, they aren’t peons need a waking, they are working grunts who deserve a break as well. The way some of these people talk about them, if I were in their shoes, I’d be taking mental health days left and right!
It is GD after all, I said this earlier but it still applies. If they cured the common cold, so many here would still have comments like why didn’t you release the cure five years ago? It’s a sad state to pay a game 15/mo to just be bitter in the forums, but hey, I am happy with what is to come personally! This Blizzcon between the expansion announcements, Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2, I am overall really stoked about the company’s future.
They’d be mad the pill is blue and they can’t customize it to their color of choice.
Also very true! You made me choke on my water on that one thanks for the laugh!
Blizzard is very aware of this kind of thing and purposefully doesn’t drop major patches right before the holiday season. I’m not saying they’re holding back the patch, just that they probably timed things to land like this on purpose.
could we get the allied race death knights before then, then?
8.3 only has like 2 days of real content in it anyway (if you include the raid), they’re artificially extending it with the weekly gated currency to upgrade your cloak to progress further in visions.
BFA has been underwhelming the whole way through and what we have gotten has been behind schedule compared to Legions content cycle.
If you’re enjoying it, cool, if you’re like me and finish each patch in a day or 2 and are left wanting less, i’d just find some other games to play and pray Shadowlands is decent.
Oh trust me, the grind there is ABSURD
One of the core aspects of the game is taming dinos, which unless is a modded server, it can take from a few minutes to 12+ hours, and in which YOU HAVE to protect the thing from getting killed by wild dinos or other players
And gathering resources is really slow and repetitive, even with dinos.
And like i said, the game is really poorly optimized, some examples i can remember, dinos dying randomly, your character going under the map, fps issues, lag issues.
Actually screw it, just watch this video, not the same game (but is really close) and was made by the same people, just so you get the idea
But as a zandalari druid this is my dinosaur survival game
Well that and Beasts of Bermuda
New Pokemon came out? League preseason is starting soon with some janky changes. Next hearthstone xpac comes in December. Modern warfare is still fresh. I sympathize, but there are other games to play.
Other games I don’t like. Sure.
Well looks like 2020 will be year of the void elf dk I guess
Two months isn’t that long, really. Trust me, I’m a Time Lord!
