Any info on 8.2 alchemy trinkets again and whether theyll be bis for raid healing like the current?
No idea if it will be BiS… but there will be a 440 stone, that at least in the database looks like it will have gem slot.

Ehh… debatable. Depends on your spec and whether you raid mythic or not. Especially if you start factoring titanforging into the equation as the Alchemist Stones cannot forge.

You can’t say the alchemist trinket is better than my trinkets.
Is Grongs any good for tanks? I imagine it’d be pretty good for mythic plus but you’re Blood atm.
I would have thought scaling a dps trinket for a tank would make it nearly useless.
We have a blood DK and i got a 420 grongs with a socket on my fury warrior i will never use, “it’s god awful for dps even at that level,” but now i’m wondering if i should have given it to our tank for agroo purposes.

You cant say 2 425 raid trinkets are worse than a 415 alchemy trinket either though.
Just the 24/7 strength bonus makes it better than the limited duration strength bonus of the alchemy trinket. I never use the ability though unless I’m bursting through all my abilities, like on Opulence, when abilities and CDs dont matter.
It’s pretty rad for ele, but it really just depends on how good the trinkets in the Palace end up being.
BoD’s best trinkets for casters were basically a gimmicky crit stat-stick and a haste proc.
If they somehow can’t make something more interesting than that this time around, I can see the alch stone doing very well.
For healers the alch stone is better than any other trink in terms of throughput and because of the potion bonus

If you’re not using the trinkets ability then you’re wrong.
The Alchemy trinket is 1648 strength for 15 seconds with a 1 proc per minute proc rate. That’s 412 effective strength on equip. “1648/4” BUT the trinket also has 197 versatility. Raidbots doesn’t scale tanks very well but i sincerely doubt 41 strength will out weigh nearly 200 versatility for ANY spec.
And that’s ignoring the stronger healing potion effect which for someone with a tanks health pool does make a tiny difference.
Using potion of replenishment is pretty standard most fights
lol I’ve been using 415 alchemist stone this entire tier and 405 heroic mekka trinket, can’t get a single trinket to drop from the box except that really bad fang trinket 3 times.
Is that why you never see the Alchemy trinket on any top 1000 raid guild raider?
/facepalm. Such an irrelevant response.
Mathmatically, that trinket is inferior to the Alchemy stone if you’re not using it’s damage ability. I don’t care what anyone else is using, you cannot argue with math.
Literally everyone knows, just look at WoWHead, the on use ability would be a DPS loss.
