TBH, I don’t need us saved. I’d take paladin class. Some NE’s at this point have accepted they have not been relevant since classic. And that was not because of driving lore/story.

It was because they were the only elf race for elf-philes. . And, imo after seeing classic recently, probably the best modeled and textured alliance race in classic. Alliance is a whole bunch of ugly there to my eyes besides the NE. And the NE aren’t exactly fashion models in that game either lol.

The Night Elves are largely a race of hippy vegans. They weren’t written be sword/board warriors and whatever till much later.

Someone in another thread about night elf revenge said it best I think. Something along the lines of:

Yeah, but as you’ve been repeating, it’s the entirety of the Horde you have a problem with, not Sylvanas. (Also that dev was John Hight. He’s not “just a dev.”)

Anyway, I was wondering why the Night Elves would then fight alongside the Horde?

Now I’m getting confused, do you hate Sylvanas or the entire Horde? Do you not understand there is a rebellion that consists of every single Horde leader other than budget AU Thrall, Nathanos, and the Edge Queen.

The same Azeroth that the Night Elves have no place in, because the Horde has taken/destroyed all of it.

Except… that’s not really true?.. Val’sharah still exists, Darkshore was reclaimed by the Night Elves supposedly, and Ashenvale will no doubt be handed back after the war.

I’m 100% sure it’s going to be this way because the writers seem to be on some strong drugs ever since they started writing the whole BfA Story.

Yes, because bad storytelling=loss and actual emotional hooks that make you proud of your faction. Get a grip. Teldrassil was my favorite starting zone and was the first part of Azeroth I ever witnessed. Am I crying? No. Do I care? No. Why? BECAUSE WHY SHOULD YOU?

Also, the title is a bit misleading I guess, they can’t be saved anymore. They are beyond destroyed already. I just hope that Blizzard doesn’t land the final blow on the few night elves that are left.

justice is for paladins. I prefer revenge. It’s much more satisfying and can always be administered to every horde savage that pops its head up as a reminder.

I hope Blizzard can actually write better stories for the Night Elves by actually retaking back their lands not just Darkshore like Ashenvale, Stonetalon, Felwood, and etc.

Also fix their eye color to the Emerald/Blue Eye Night Elves. Not the Disappointing Night Elf Lore Ones. Also Siege Barrens just on topic of that.

They try REALLY hard to make Night Elves seem tough but most of its later retconning. Everything before Cataclysm and WC3 says they’re basically just xenophobic pacifists.
