But see here’s the thing, Beyond defending SHGY at the beginning, that other stuff is easily accomplished in groups of 5, which can be repeatedly queued for with the same people. Are alliance not queueing as parties.
Keep perpetuating the falsehood that this was blizzards motivation. No doubt if this lie is repeated often enough, alliance will eventually get better at the BG.
Horde may have a slight PvP advantage and that’s okay, our rogues are great at slaying priests and our warriors can’t be stunlocked to death 1/4 times.
And gnomes get out of the frost nova I go 100-0 in every third death. And alliance have Paladins which are better for group pvp than shaman. And human warriors / Warlocks charge / dot me from 25 yards.
Our “advantage” does not explain away the abysmal performance of NA alliance. EU and oceanic alliance are vastly superior to NA. This is a player skill / mentality problem that needs to at least be acknowledged before it can be corrected.

Queue times. Alliance have instant queues resulting in more bots/afks per BG. Horde have over an hr queue time resulting in more die hard pvpers and less bots/afks. Alliance has more below 60s on average too.

Map. Ibgy is a natural choke at the start of horde territory. It is also not pinned in by cliffs, unlike shgy. You arnt forced out a single direction, allowing for more avenues of attack. Alliance territory has 4 entrances with a choke at the rear. This choke after shgy serves no purpose for defense as Alliance. Instead it provides a natural choke for horde after they cap shgy.

Starting caves are not fairly placed. If shgy is capped it takes alliance 1/3 of the map to travel to spawn. In contrast it takes horde a much easier time to counter Ibgy due to cave position.
This is classic, there are reasons why it has been changed over time. Id suggest for alliance to simple not queue for it. If the map were to switch starting horde north and alliance south and horde had instant queues, i’m sure we’d see about the same win rates reversed.
I don’t waste my time in there any more, unless i want to just pvp for kills. Wpvp is much preferable.

Just got out of a AV match where Alliance won. They got 4554 bonus honor and the highest guy had 461 HKs lowest guy had 221 HKs. I have the screen shot as proof so please don’t say you never win and Horde always win.

The lack of equal outcomes in WSG would make you absolutely clueless. Go find some sand to bury your head in because when AB comes out your ignoring of the obvious issues will make you just look even more silly.

Some of the Horde have been trying to work with you guys as well, but Horde and Alliance players been attacking those Horde trying to help. Telling them to go back to retail, get better, stop making changes yes and even telling them to go kill themselves. So this is a problem of the player base that more then likely want the issues to remain because it’s a benefit to them.

You can’t generalize either faction’s skills with any honesty here… The battlegrounds are cross server, and with that big of a sample size one side losing a battleground 99% of the time has nothing to with an individual players skill.
I would agree with this 100% if I didn’t ever experience strand of the ancients, which to this day is the most balanced BG ever made
Meta dictates a lot, so when people realize they’re singing up for a loss, the obvious choice is to get maximum value in minimum time spent
That being said you’re in denial if you can’t see the obvious advantages horde has
Either that or you can’t understand why ally was winning week 1 in premade VS pug games
Where would you like me to send you the screenshot of that match? 1 of the enemy players was from my own server, he got 15 KB, 8 deaths, 391 HKs, 1 Graveyard assault, 4554 points. (almost started listing peoples names then thought might get banned for that).

My whole point was that for alliance to win, we need to kill so many more horde than you have to kill ally, in part because you get back to defend IBGY 3 times as fast as we get back to defend SHGY
Not even going to talk about choke points, just think about that for a second

No, I’ve been in those games that alliance wins AV
We literally kill over twice the horde in those games as you kill in games that you’re farming us to 30 mins for max honor
You get back to defend IBGY 3 times as fast as we get back to defend SHGY
That means on average while defending that GY we’re killing 3 times as many of you as you kill of us when defending SHGY
If you don’t see that as an advantage I’m really not sure what to tell you other than enjoy your ever increasing queue time

mean those whom wanted to be a challenged grouped up in discord to counter the racials and map advantage and you guys complained until is was broken. and now the scale is even more imbalanced.

I’m starting to wonder if defending even matters anymore. The horde will not kill vand before the 30 min mark even if they capped aid station and towers at 17 mins. All out offense and strategic recalls seems to work better than trying to slow the push north.

Why are you guys fighting at either of those places, when all it takes is a couple to make it past and easily capture the GYs outside of the bases? The fact that alliance like you are so hung up on SH and IB speaks volumes about why you lose the BG.
Why must folks like yourself completely ignore the damage discord premade queue hopping was doing to your own faction and ranking? Yeah, it was all due to horde complaints, right? Good grief, the denial…
