It was far, far less than that for pugs before they nerfed premades. It was more like a <1% win rate for Ally.
This forum is full of miserable people
Curious about this, actually @Surrender - if our entire raid is stacked at ibgy and could not by design avoid passing the ibgy flag to get to O (which really hurts IBGY defence, cause every raid has some PVErs who want to just ride north – they rez and just drop down and head north to the choke to die) then there’s no way we’re not wiping you guys and riding north. How are you guys not doing the same, particularly since you have shb archers to give you cover?
Yes, wow you GENIUS! That must be it!
THose 100,000 plus random people who are playing Alliance are just AWEFUL at video games!
And those 100,000 plus random people on horde are CHADS!
You can’t generalize either faction’s skills with any honesty here… The battlegrounds are cross server, and with that big of a sample size one side losing a battleground 99% of the time has nothing to with an individual players skill.
It has to do with collective effort. More alliance are not putting it in. I kill more of you on your mounts than off of them. I find AFK toons like rats hiding in houses and under bridges.
The BG is effectively 25v38 but that is not hordes fault. It is your own.
People look at what’s in front of them and optimize their own play by the immediate issues.
For example, if Horde played a bit less aggressively they’d probably still win most games but they wouldn’t drive away as many Alliance. The queues would have stayed in the original 20-30 minute range. Instead they try to eke out every bit of rep and honor which drives away Alliance and doubles or triples the queue times.
So individual short-term decisions lead to a much worse outcome. For a moderate increase in honor there has been a large increase in the time it takes to get that honor.
Now, I don’t blame Horde or Alliance for these play style choices. Everyone is trying to optimize their play. I blame Blizzard for making the game this way and not making changes when it becomes obvious problems are forming. Small course corrections work well when you make them at the start of an issue. When the issue becomes huge your corrections need to be disproportionately large.
But really, I cannot think of a single game where the bulk of the horde, or even a considerable number, actually stopped and legit tried to capture shgy. If the tower is still up across from it I go tap it, but afterward I beeline to the bridge gy. If shgy is such a horrible thing to be taken, why on earth are alliance not taking snowfall? And if horde are rezzing at ibgy, why arent alliance rogues capping the gy outside our base (you know, the least defensible gy in the entire game) and then our base hut?
For example, if Horde played a bit less aggressively they’d probably still win most games but they wouldn’t drive away as many Alliance.
Do you truly not realize how utterly pathetic this sounds?
bye tell your faction to get good blizzard cant fix bad players.
This post, by definition, is trolling but I’m all out of flags.
You’re just the one i’m looking for. Same thing as this thread. You only feel safe when you have the numbers. Otherwise you’d just rather keep running. I’m sure those 59- kills really add up.
Too busy either falling back or trying to hold their own. I’ve seen exactly what you’re saying work. They’re waiting on the guy to pull the trigger. None of them have the gumption because no one will follow them.
i got exalted on my warlock today as well. im not sure how many matches total i ran, but i also only won 3 total.
Very civilized usually; someone will announce they’re going and maybe a couple more will say something and before you know it 10 players are on the way to retake a tower.
Tho there are some seriously delusional and angry birds horde side too, but at least the Horde are trying to win.

Ironic coming from a horde player.
Always such a strong focus on our queue times. Not only does it motivate us for the win, we can also do professions in-between. The assumption that we all just sit there is very odd.
Wait, I am suppose to do things while waiting for the queue to pop in the War Master’s room? No wonder I keep getting kicked every now and then even though I am not AFK. Honestly though I can’t stand farming and not a lot of content I can do anymore that would not affect my queue times.
yes, the loot is that good, by design.
The problem is it is much harder to send support from SHGY to IBGY than the other way around. Look how quick Horde that Spwn at IBGY can return to SHGY versus Alliance trying to do the same from SHGY to IBGY. The map is so heavily Horde favored, the only chance the Alliance really had was premades. But Horde cried and Bliz gave them their 100% win rate in AV. Lets not even talk about the OP racials…
There is a reason why the giant statue outside Blizz HQ is an orc…
