76 Residuum for a 14 key. 675 for a 385 piece

so in 24 weeks you’ll have your bis stuff just in time for the next raid tier. Sure ok have fun with that.

No reason 370 couldnt be sold for 1/3rd the price, preferably less because some classes azerite isn’t the most important thing so they need to make 370 look like a decent upgrade from their current 385’s

Well if you don’t raid at all, or do any world quests, or any content other than your weekly +10, yeah I think it’s generous to get BIS azerite.

Agreed.

Personally, I hate the azerite system. The old tier system was much more fun.

  • Under the old system you didn’t have to worry about nerfs. If your tier set got nerfed, it was less effective, but still probably BiS. With the azerite system, when they nerf a trait you have to discard your current azerite gear and collect new gear with the new latest FOTM trait.
  • It was fun having a unique tier appearance for each class. Having generic appearances by armor types sucks. Blizzard tried this for a tier back in WOTLK and everyone hated it. But I guess they forgot since they’re doing it again.

Hopefully Blizzard will realize how awful the azerite system is and discard it as a failed mechanic when the next expansion comes out.

The post you quoted can be read two ways. Only one of which suggests TR is in end of dungeon chests.

Sure but why screw everyone else.

That’ll probably be nerfed to your WIS (worst in slot) as soon as you get it. Azerite is too volatile to take that long.

I’m not saying “I did a +10 wheres my 385” I’m saying I ran 15 to 20 +11 and higher last week and I didnt even get enough to buy 1 specific piece of gear at any ilvl? Not only that but I have to farm my butt off doing pointless world quests in order to get the gear in a less un-reasonable amount of time. 6 weeks for one piece of gear and being forced to do trivial content is un-reasonable.

It’s a 6-8 week commitment if you’re only doing a weekly M+. If you raid, or do quests and warfronts you get it faster.

6 to 8 week only doing m+ are you not doing math here?! a 14 awards 76 meaning its going to take 9 mofo weeks to get 1 piece. where the hell are you gettin 6 weeks from?!?!

I don’t understand why it doesn’t drop at the end of every m+ run. It would give geared players some incentive to help out more casual players and it would be a nice excuse to take a break from pushing io and go zerg some lower keys.

Raiding won’t really knock it down, A) Depending on luck Azerite gear is EXTREMELY rare
B) in the event that you do get something you don’t need, there’s a fair chance someone else will, and keeping it for the few TR you’ll get is selfish
and
C) You’re not going to be scrapping mythic azerite gear left and right anyway, it’s volatile, what was bad could become BiS

This comment made me cry laugh

No its still more then likely going to be 6 weeks. I am aware of how it works but you are under the idea that Azerite pieces will drop for you in the raids. Odds are not in your favor the other avenue you mention is warfronts which is a chance and you get 1 yay I guess.

Quests you mean emissary because I am still getting 325 azurite from world quests.

By the time you are able to afford one it will be normal tier gear.

I meant emissaries and what ever new form of assaults they are coming out with

Why am I not surprised?

Blizz just don’t get it. And show every sign of NEVER getting it.

Aye this system is actually worse then the old one with the removal of the chest drops

You WILL do M10+ and participate in their e-sports environment or you may as well become a pet collector.

Just what I expected from Blizzard, they never change, they never want us to actually work for something in a decent amount of time.

They used to, but then it became RNG, and then they even had to throw RNG into this.
