All I can say is that it works fine for me, no idea what’s the issue on your end.
That’s just it, they still can, they have just become too lazy to tell their addons to do an ingame scan when they are at the AH.
TSM can’t do scans anymore, everything is handled by the desktop app which updates every hour… or at least it did.
And while I could use another addon to scan what their price in the moment I’d much rather if Blizzard did their job and fixed the issue.
Auctionator does this as well, I’ve used this for my AH buying/selling forever.
“Criminals break the law anyway, so why not just make it easier to break the law now?”
That’s your logic.
who does this hurt?
does he or she deserve to be hurt?
What are you talking about, you’re taking something like a botter and elevating it to the level of a criminal? Either way I’m not asking for it to be easier for them to bot I’m asking for Blizzard to do their job, the auction realm data to be updated by Blizzard allowing their AH API to give new data.
Also it’s likely that AH botters just use their own addon for the AH and even if they used TSM why make actual players suffer because of botters using an addon, makes no sense.
Might as well ban all addons and lock all API because botters exist don’t want to make it easier for them.
A ToS violation is equivalent to criminal behavior to the terms of use. I figured a big int mage could connect the dots.
Equating botting in a game to an actual criminal IRL is asinine unless you’re talking about something minor like a misdemenor, the two might equate but even then it would struggle to be comparable.
You know, I feel like you’ve said this before… at least come up with new stuff.
Gold sellers mad they can’t automate their AH bots with cross realm data. Very sad. One tear shed for million sadness.
Which describes exactly zero people in this thread. Hell, I still don’t have the Mammoth from Dal yet.
Describes anyone obsessed over multi-realm AH data.
Smooooooooth Brain.
The only time that’s the case is for a certain item in FFXIV that’s a pain in two thousand necks to get without buying it from someone else; otherwise, I care only about the info for the server I’m playing on and not much else.

Or, you know, because I can just flip to the normal UI and keep posting there instead?

I remember a few of my guildmates in Classic Classic using TSM to figure out what herbs to buy for potion/elixir-making so they could make a profit, which seemed a little odd to me. I don’t go much farther than “is this random blue drop or limited vendor-sold recipe worth the effort of posting for a decent amount of cash?” since I don’t really see much use in having several hundred thousand gold when the biggest single expense in the game is still a Mammoth.

Think this is where I point to Dan Olson’s “Why It’s Rude to Suck at Warcraft” video and mention that there are way worse addons to take out than TSM.
