70-75 engineering

Hey guys,

How did y’all level 70-75 engineering in pre patch? I’ve been trying to get the recipe for the field repair not 110g from the Gan’arg analyzers in blades edge, but doesn’t seem to be dropping. Is this still the right spot to get this schematic?

Thanks

they buy gold and just buy anything off the ah till the proff is maxed out, they don’t do it the cheap way because they have like 100k g from credit card. 90% of the classic community knows nothing about the game or how to play it, because they just RMT everything, real big problem.

Are you actually struggling to level 70-75 Eng? It’s incredibly easy just Google it???

I got this recipe after about 5 minutes, but I have no intention of bothering to level up to 375. It’s a huge waste of gold or time when soon you can do 350-420 with tiny amounts of cobalt bars. Just wait until Septh 26th.

I just farmed it a bit. Dropped early for some characters and I had to grind for others.

Currently though I wouldnt worry about leveling engineering to 375 unless you plan to utilize it within the next 6 days before Wrath launches.

In Wotlk you can start leveling Northrend engineering at skill level 350. Most players that are leveling engineering right now for Wrath just stop there at or around 350 and plan to level 350-450 with the new Northrend materials.

From the wow-professions guide:

I would recommend everyone to wait until the WotLK launch on September 26 before you level Engineering to 375. You will reach 375 by making very cheap WotLK recipes that you will use later, so you can’t skip making these anyway. Leveling to 375 with TBC recipes now will waste a lot of gold, so it’s worth waiting.

yeah one character was the first mob, some were within 10, one took like 2 hours… It was miserable

DO NOT DO THIS. Wait until wrath gets here and use easier methods from the Dalaran trainer. You can start getting patterns for engineering starting at 350 using colbalt screw and stuff.

I highly recommend everyone leveling engineering stop at 350 and wait. You will save hundreds of gold and a bit of frustration because the last 20 levels of engineering in tbc is a pita.

No need to go find a pattern to make overly expensive items, especially with the high prices of materials right now.

I did this a few weeks ago, took about 30 minutes of clearing the mob spawns.
