It’s about the fact that alts who have not unlocked a duckling body colour cannot use the toy at all.

The people complaining are whales in the sense that their subscription isn’t going anywhere. They’ll whine and moan how bad/unfair it is (and I agree it’s dumb), but Blizzard knows their customer base and they’re as addicted as they come. They’ll be here for all 6 years if the Earth continues to exist that long and/or the game is still running ticking off each collectible 1 by 1 and paying month after month.

Maybe there is a better term for it but the truth is still there.

Don’t you think the plunderstorm was better in this respect? A month to farm all the account-wide appearances with 100% drop rate. All you had to do is tolerate being killed a few times. Now we’re back to this type of thing, killing the bunny every hour and spending a couple of years colllecting appearances.

Except I already chose multiple colors the first day the quest was available (wrongly assuming it would be account wide) and literally can’t choose my favorite colors now.

I do not understand WHY this is character specific, when with warbands in The War Within alot of cosmetic stuff will be accomplished by being you know, account wide.

I don’t understand, either. This decision by Blizzard effectively means that we have a literal toy that is not account wide, let alone some cosmetic rewards that offer no power or utility.

This lessens my interest in grinding content because I’m not going to go out of my way for anything that won’t be rewarded on future toons.

It’s not a forum, its via the ingame Feedback option, which gets sent directly to Blizard.

You go to Game Menu/Support/Submit feedback or bug report.

I use it when I have an idea about something, or something I feel could be improved.
