That’s fine. You can’t please everyone nor should you try to. The plebs, or otherwise people like you we can call fools, are still paying for a outdated experience factually regardless of its being good or bad subjectively.
Plenty of people will care about it being outdated when it progresses to the point of their disapproval or when they don’t get any new content period. I’m happy that ya’ll will be there instead of retail. You’re funding my game without spreading your stupidity on it. Truly a win/win for retail players.

Oof harsh my elven friend, I like it.
I grind literal RL currency 5 days a week for this amount of time lol. I don’t consider myself a ‘casual worker’.
Playing 6-8h a day is far from a casual player.
You keep using outdated as if that means anything. Pretty meaningless term which you wield as the crux of your argument, considering theyre spending resources to bring it back. I guess the directors are fools too for spending time bringing this alive.
Its funny, youre foaming at the mouth and throwing out disparaging comments at players that merely have a difference of opinion when it comes to fun. I’ll flag this lack of substance and move on. I can see nothing of value comes from a discussion with this toxicity.
Not taking it as a troll comment at all.
I agree with a lot of what Verminard said.
Meaningful professions are a big one. Professions seem pointless in BFA. They have really felt like it for a while. I remember how important maxing out your profession was and how rare recipes dropping were almost as exciting as epics dropping in a raid. It made you feel like you an important part of a group not just for your class, but your profession as well.
I miss how each class was unique. There were certainly some balance issues that needed to be worked out, of course, but everything now just seems so homogenized. Every class and spec felt different. Like everyone had their own job to do. For a while now, it has just felt like 3 classes; Tank, DPS and Heals.
A lot of people will disagree with this one, but i loved Raid attunement. It made raids feel more important, like simply being able to get into the raid was something you achieved. I enjoyed that you needed to complete certain quests and defeat specific enemies to get into raids.
Class specific quests were a lot of fun for me. Questing for totems, warrior stances and druid forms all added to the immersion for me.
I know a lot of these aspects of Classic were despised by some, but they made the game fun for me. I suppose thats the problem with the “enjoyable aspects of classic”, it is all pretty subjective. I feel like adding some of those back to the game would make it more fun, but thats just me.
classic fanboys want retail to fail because they think it will help bring back the old days
Crux? Whot. Facts are facts and the experience is factually outdated. I’m sure that difficult for you to comprehend but thus is the situation. The dev’s made a money move, who could blame them? They hooking all of you suckers for the price of retail all while having to do less work than retail. Yet youre paying full price for a game you guys are so bitter towards. They also get to keep you people in their business bubble. Its truly genius. Hook, line, sinker.
The only one foaming around here is you to throw your money at a old product. Dance monkey, dance. Lol.

The big argument is that you guys begged and demanded a version of the game that will progress no where, zero new content, no expansions period, most people with a brain will look at that and say “what will we do 6 months to a year in and all planned phases are done?” Most people will leave because no one wants to be stuck in a content dead game for more than a reasonable amount of time as I said and has many other people have said, classic is better off taking the osrs approach and build on top of the core philosophy of vanilla wow with a cap of 60.
In another thread I posted in, the only major change that will be required is the viability of unplayed or least likely played specs like protection paladin will need to be brought up and balanced for raid content all while keeping the “bugs” list that blizzard had to flat out tell everyone that it was a feature to the game as it was and untouched.

Yup.
Glad to see there are others who are woke.

And with how toxic they are they’re just going to complain more when they get bored. It truly is a toxic cycle.

I’ve been accutely aware of how classic will go down from the very get go, I still say its all nostalgia with rose tinted glasses, don’t get me wrong I’ll be playing classic but it sure ain’t nostalgia.
I’ve been second guessing myself and how well I’d run two guilds under the same name for both factions because of this, it’s the very reason why I’ll be promoting a healthy yet joking environment all while everyone being very capable of surviving within the guild without me.
I’m doing great. Currently at work but im still available to but some sheep in their place lol.
Yourself?
Yup.
You going about it in the right way.
I’m fine other than having to repair my computer which has sat on my desk basically taken apart to be put back together once i get new parts.
If you plan to play classic, I could always use some help with running both my guilds at once in a sudo mega guild.
O what new parts are you getting?
