buy a wow token for $20 and get 5k gold, or go to a website and buy 17k gold for $20, wash the gold and never get caught? your not really stopping the botting, gold buying/selling.
Up the price of the wow token. my gdkp payouts are 25 - 40k per person, i personally dont care if you do or dont, im gold capped on 10 toons on my 3rd account and i can literally never pay a single dime to a wow sub for the next 10 years. you’ve effectively made this a free to play game for me.
in retail, you have to grind for about 3 weeks to get 250k for a wow token. in classic it only takes an hour, or 2 to get 5k

you say it’s free to play, but it’s not, it’s just someone else paying for your game time. if there are no wow tokens on the ah it won’t let you buy one. as such if you bought 3 months of game time in the form of wow tokens, at least $60 worth of wow tokens had to be purchased, that’s $15 more than the $45 you would’ve spent paying for 3 months of subscription.

because its free to play for me, im not paying a single $ for the game at this point. the only people that are buying this token are the people that dont know how to wash their gold, and dont want to risk (low risk) getting a week ban. now if less people bought the wow token with $ then the gold price goes up. but if blizzard were to set a baseline price of whatever the gold sellers have it for, then yeah, it would be worth getting, and my life time sub of free wow would end in a few years instead of 10,

Why? people are paying the $20 for wow token as it is. (if they weren’t you wouldn’t be able to buy the token because there wouldn’t be any on the AH and your game wouldn’t be free to play)
