5k Valor is NOT a lot

Idk if anyone has noticed but with 5K valor any KSM player is only gonna be able to upgrade a couple of items. This feels more to me, at this point, like its more helpful for alts then anything.

I would have liked maybe if they had given us some Justice points as well so we could upgrade stuff to 210 without using valor so I could farm lower keys without a loss. That would have actually put us in line with PvP.

Or maybe I am terrible at math. But, it doesn’t seem to me to be the gearing boon I thought it would be.

the 220 gear thing is kinda weird of a cap.

also i thought a valor vendor would have all sorts of goodies in it…like trinkets, potions, etc.

it’s a pretty boring currency obviously minimum effort and thought given by the devs lol

Or for people like me who don’t do M+ at all it’s entirely too much and just another useless currency to clutter up the tab.

Would have been nice if they let us use it on the covenant sets so we don’t have to waste anima on them.

Pretty sure that was the point. It’s not supposed to be a quick way to gear, just a way to target gear for upgrades.

I am just grateful that they added valor to daily quests, it was initially only going to be allowed for mythic+

Keystone Master. It’s the achievement you need to unlock the highest upgrade level. So people who commonly do 15+ and higher mythic dungeons

TBH valor is dead on arrival, the upgrade costs severly limit a lot of what it could of done. Like for instance with a 5k cap, you can essentially only upgrade a weapon 10 times. So essentially the entire system is completely limited in how useful it is.

They needed to make it like the PvP vendor is and not put a damn cap on I like conquest. With having it be like honor to where you can farm it infinitely and actually use it as a tool for linear progression. Can’t have that though in this stupid expansion.

Gotta make sure to keep farming as terrible as possible, and make loot useless and continue to force players into PvP. Given it has a more realistic method of getting gear at a decent pace.

It’s only useful for specific item targeting. Gearing an entire character with 220 upgrade gear would take forever lol.

For mythic+ only players anyone know how long it would take to get full 220s? lol In weeks I imagine its something like longer then the patch will last. lol

I had in my head the valor worked like honor. Instead it works like conquest. 1. Rng sucks no matter what. 2. It should work like honor.

Considering I have not seen a single 1h drop since launch at above 190ilvl… It would probably be easier for me to learn how to pvp better than grind M+. The valor system is borderline useless for most ppl.

Why would they want to know that? So far it’s just easier to whinge about a positive system that was just added.
