Was really fun to wait 56 min for a queue to pop to just find someone clearly win trading, wouldnt play on some rounds and just run behind pillar to die and then on the other play like a high rated player… 56 minutes… at 1600 CR/MMR…

They most definitely are, ive experienced it personally about 4 times and there are tons of other posts recount similar stories… i mean shoot… its even openly advertised in Trade chat ads for RSS wins.

There is 0 reason to do it that low, and also it’s practically impossible to snipe someone in shuffle outside the top of the ladder. Too many people q that low.

Most ppl have 4set this week in shuffle if u cant carry have to wait till next week. I know ill lose rating this week without my 4pc. Just not gonna pump as much as the other dps unless there super bad, and im not taking that chance. Got screwed by vault no tier.

Burden is proof is on op. Generally these situations just boil down to people playing poorly and other people trying to read into it and think there’s something going on.
People don’t notice where their healer is, what cds are available until after they’re dead, if their healer is in cc, who is on dr, but they sure can tell you who is wintrading. At 1300-1700. Yep.

There is though, 1600 = free tier and 1800 is the mog. Plus people that buy pilots, that needs to start somewhere too.
Not to mention the quiet ilvl bump on pvp gear. It’s viable to be in heroic with highly upgraded pvp gear and maybe mythic id you didn’t have a better option.

Or better yet someone should buy one of these boosts/wintrade sessions and record the discord dialogue with the boosters. “Boosting is a problem in WoW Arena” with a picture of a orc facepalming on thumbnail.
I’m sure it would get tons of views, asmongold would probably watch it on stream, then the wow devs might do something about it.

This is just normal player play. Go watch two back-to-back games of a random silver league player. They may pop off one game and hard run it down the next with seemingly no understanding of mistakes that are clear to you as an observer.

Like was stated it’s not real. The people dumb enough to believe this is really happening at 1600 are also not smart enough to recognize it’s just perception bias. Then they watch a r1 streamer who might mention wintrading and they automatically apply that to their situation as well without realizing the r1 player is playing in a much smaller bubble of players at the tippity top of the ladder where wintrading could potentially happen with actual rewards worth the effort of it.
At this point though it’s obvious this is going to be a revolving door where random players pop in and claim wintrading and it needs explained to them that’s not what is happening and at some point nobody here that knows better is going to have the energy to explain how they’re wrong for the umpteenth time and Beedie will have won the war via mental attrition.

Nothing more to be said than perception bias.
There’s an almost 0% chance that people are wintrading at 1600, because if you’re at 1600 you are already bad enough to not know what wintrading really is

there is def a difference between playing bad and what this person was doing. and there isnt really a way to prove my claim obviously.
But yea melee just running it down behind pillar and attacking is a bad player zug zugging
This person would legit afk at the start or just run at the enemy and stand there no attacks no def nothing it was pretty obvious.
