The tricky part about making this ignorant claim is that other people can simply link you the part where Blizzard outlined exactly how it would work well in advance.

Also, unless this is your first season ever, this is precisely how it always works.

The weekly Conquest cap will start at 1350 and increase by 550 per week.

Which means this weeks cap should be 1900 conquest. We should be able to attain 1900 Conquest this week.

i agree, you never got 550 a week in any season. Hopefully this is not intended, the way its worded “The weekly Conquest cap will start at 1350 and increase by 550 per week.” sounds like 1350+550 week 2, = 1900, +550 week 3, = 2450.

If it was worded, “1350 week 1 and total conquest cap increases by 550 points per week after” , then it would be how it is now. Terrible

Right. The announcement like weeks ago said you get X amount and an increase of 500 per week following that. Which honestly is perfect imo. That means there’s no halfarse catchup mechanic. Doesn’t matter if you start week 1 or start on week 20, your total cap will be the same for the season. It’s honestly a good system. A little slower than normal for the people that normally get high caps from 2400+ but we’re all also getting weekly vault and weekly upgrade totems.

That way new toons, alts can grind and at least catch-up

actually it wasnt, week 2 of last season they removed the cap. nice try though. So acting like its been like this forever you must’ve “bumped your head”.
