55 or older?

Same here.

This thread reminds me of one of those old IRC/Yahoo chatrooms.

I turned 56 in April. I have played since Vanilla. My son and I turned our kitchen table into a raid centre. I look forward to playing with him again in Classic although not at just one table. He does not live with his old Ma anymore. Gotta resort to Discord.

I don’t have a lawn and besides i am too busy yelling at them to get off my LAN… rofl

52 here.

The pre-alpha of Ultima Online first got me into IRC; I had never used it before that. I was around 29?

Those same people were in the betas of EQ with me, raiding in EQ, then the Betas of Wow with me and raiding in Wow.

Now I’m 52.

I live in an apartment. Who got time for a lawn? Ain’t nobody got time for that!

I still like IRC more than everything else, including Voice chat. I wish it was still used for guilds in Wow. If you REALLY want to play Classic Wow, you should be alt tabbing out to your IRC guild channel…

59 here, oddly enough, i feel better now than i did when wow first came out. the joy of being a disabled vet  sadly i wont be able to participate in the mad rush to the killing of the hogs outside org. poor things wont last a second. if i’d known it was launching tomorrow, id have rescheduled my pain clinic appt. but hey, this way by the time i get home i might actually feel just as bad as that first day of wow so long ago.

oh yeah, ive got toons older than most of the wow players, first used Catkicker in 83. he didnt make it to an mmo until asherons call. i miss solclaim.

You’re very kind. Thank you for that. You made my night.

I’d like to tank again. It’s been a looong time! Is there a guild on Myzrael that would like to give a level 20 warrior tank a chance to re-learn the game?

Playing Alliance, ended up a four time server refugee and finally settled out on Smoulderweb or something like that. Pushed the new Leoncito to level 30 last night, could level faster but keep having to help lower levels in the guild with quests.

Someone got my guild name “Bloodbath and Beyond” before I could snag it so we had to come up with a new name, we’re now “Bad Luck Incorporated”, paths crossed, bad luck guaranteed. The most bad luck I’ve been able to arrange thus far was a guy seven levels above me tagged me while I was grinding. Some people have no respect for their elders, he died running in circles screaming while my curses slowly whittled him down. Should have known better than to have bingoed a Lock in an open field with a clear view… I did the decent thing, I didn’t corps camp him.

If any of you guys happen by Smoulderweb and feel the need to join a primarily PVP guild give me a yell, I’d be more than happy to have some experience on my side.

Hey there Wolfgangg, you can check out the guild Horde Tough, we are on the Myzrael server and a guild for the older generation. We have a recruitment post on the wow classic guild forums and Myzrael forums, Just search Horde Tough.

Great that you’re here…kid.

Are we talking Character Levels, Real-Life-Years, or Relative Maturity?

That’s a great guild name.

I can attest this is a great guild! I’m in it and the people are great.

i think i might be 55 before i make it to 60 with all the ganking XD

It’s good to see the older generations playing!

How is this thread still alive?

phht, no ones stupid enough to go on my lawn, even the bears stay away
