Lol I just realized we are only 4 days away from release of Classic wow. That is really cool. I didn’t think I would see it before my retirement in 2024.
They’re opening “Old Blanchy” server on Monday, along with several others. In case anyone feels like an elder horse
That would actually be funny to have a guild there, it fits
I was just thinking that! Then I thought of this thread.
Not yet 55, but I’m working on it.
Now this makes total sense and sort of a secret code for those 50+!!
What an interesting server it would be if everyone the other side of 50 went there. Honestly.
Like rp pvp but not, its its own nifty category without being blatantly obvious.
If youre thinking " Im not an old horse" well, if you read the 50+ thread some say much worse lol. Personally I was pissed when Old Blanchy was killed.
I know its fun playing with the younger kids, still this was amusing idea to throw around.
I’m only 50 myself, but I like it I plan to roll a few over there Monday morning (my time anyway) when they take the limit off character creation.
I just saw the list of new servers, “Old Blanchy” looks like my kind of server.
I’ll try to find you in game.
Perhaps Old Blanchy is where we should make the Alliance guild, AARPwn?
Oh that’s good! I’ll post my character name here once I’ve made it See you on the other side… of Azeroth! lol
I’m thinking of taking my sorry old self to Old Blanchy myself (pushing 70).
Sounds like Old Blanchy will be the favorite retirement home.
I guess I will end up there too and join a retiree guild.
Well, there were only 48 States in the US when I was born, so I guess I qualify.
I’m only 54 but the time zone and name work for me. Just need to figure out faction.
Yep, same here.
It makes me wonder, seeing some of the older community moving to Old Blanchy server, if Blizzy wanted to give a helping hand to those wanting a home
Old Blanchy sounds appropriate for us too…
We’ll be creating characters on launch day… a Prot War/Holy Pali team.
Will be looking for an Alliance guild much prefered of the 40+ crowd.
Started playing about a month before the release of TBC so most if not all of classic will be a new experience.
Our intent will be to simply enjoy the game at a comfortable pace. While running dungeons we intend to learn as we go and create our own strats with the group we have. We anticipate there could be many wipes but will figure it out eventually.
ima have my mom read this thread so she knows im not joking about how people her age play my game.
You are far more eloquent than I. This is a wonderful response.
44 over here, too, but you know what they say…
