I love those posts that essentially say, “You’re too old for WOW, get off your wrinkled buttocks and complete your bucket list before you shuffle off this mortal coil.” There is no refute that I could add that others before me haven’t already said with greater eloquence and persuasion. So let me say this then: I can choose whatever leisure I wish to pursue without giving any consideration to the approval or preferences of another individual. By the way, I could just as easily make the counter argument: You’re young, why the heck are you playing WOW? Get off your tush, leave your Mommy’s basement and get a degree or two or three; join the military; get a job; raise a family; experience trials and tribulations that you can’t even imagine; build resilience and nurture perseverance. Once you’ve done all that then you’ve earned the right to play WOW and to lecture others on how best to use their leisure time. See how easy that was.

Great thread! I was wondering if I was the only player far past her 30’s and, yikes, into her 50s! I’ve been playing since my (ex)husband got me hooked in 2004. Nobody online ever believes I am female IRL, let alone in my 50s and playing since Vanilla!

I suggest you get an education with your life. Start with Basic English. Word definitions and punctuation will serve you well.

Everyone else in this thread has more life experience than you do, yet you’re too young to understand the implications of that.

I do many things with my life, including riding horses, and running a theatre company.

Just because you only play video games, think it’s the equivalent of a real physical sport that somehow is only limited to some Prime Age Bracket, and are blinded by your own myopia, doesn’t mean the rest of us live the same life you do.

But hey, if you’re lucky, perhaps you’ll make it to our age bracket with all of your faculties, but only if Karma sees fit. She’s a Goddess. Forget that at your peril.

Sorry Evawyn, Horde Tough is rolling on PVE Myzrael but you are more than welcome to come join us. Lol, you definitely wont be a cradle robber in this guild. I would say our average age is mid 50s.

Reminds me of the Battletech / Mechwarrior community.

I was one of the younger players in my mid 20’s. One of the guys I used to play MW4 was in his late 70’s, and now he’s in his 80’s. Cmeg was a cool guy.

If you two wish to persue argumentative behavior, I would suggest taking it to General.

This thread has importance to quite a few people and I would hate to see it locked up due to some pointless squabble among trolls.
