Your math is flawed.

An average month has 30 days.

30 x 24 = 720

15/720 = 0.0208333333333333

So every hour costs you roughly $0.021

So.

5000 x 0.021 = 105

Multiply that by 4 for the hours waited.

We get 420. (Blaze it).

That’s the exact amount of money that Blizzard “stole”, theoretically, from customers.

Even though the TOS quite clearly state that the service is not always available.

Pretty sure even civil court would laugh at your claim for $420. Since your share of that is only $0.084.

at this point the free transfers should be opened for the problem servers just starting to get players that want off off will only help the issue it may be a slow process but its best to start now rather then later.

It is there issue when they let players create and join said servers to create the issue at hand.

With that logic they should just give priority que to anyone that has been on the server for more then 2 years.

Nobody could’ve foreseen jam-packed servers having queues at xpac releases… totally unpredictable, right?

More seriously, I’m sorry that some are stuck with queues but it’s not as if this was entirely unavoidable. Everybody would benefit if a few guilds had preemptively hopped from their full realms to a mid or high pop realm… the guild doesn’t have to deal with crazy queues and the target server has its community strengthened. But nobody ever thinks of that, it’s just “I want the benefits of a full server without the downsides of a full server”.

As far as offering free transfers goes… that might not be a bad idea, but I’d bet anything the players who could make the biggest impact (med/large guilds) won’t transfer, they’ll expect masses of individual casuals to fix the queues for them.
