Sure, I wouldn’t mind that, but I’m not as upset with that as some of you are. The mount rewards have always been recolors so just seems normal to me.
Why can it not just be kept the yeti and add a higher mount requirement for the otter? 500 mounts a bit low.
A special dragon skin for 500 since were gonna be mainly in DF is something to say " hey i worked my butt off for 500, look at this amazing looking dragon" as well as a unique flying mount would be AWESOME

There’s like 4 other armored otter mounts so 
For me that’s the thing that Blizzard should change and we shouldn’t accept anymore but well 
Maybe CC collectors could help us with this communication issues
A lot of collectors asked for something unique, I just checked wowhead post on twitter and it’s almost the same result that Yeti caused but less comments about “Ugly mount”, it just changed to “cute mount” but another recolor.
and 10 total otters so this is meh at best, better than yeti by very far but still pretty short

Delete them and replace them with yetis.
I mean… I’m glad that it’s not that ugly yeti mount, but like what others have said, there are 5 other armored otters. 500 is quite the achievement. Why can’t we have a truly unique mount that you can’t get anywhere else except the achievement?

I actually really liked your idea you’ve raised before of the white brutosaur, although its size is a little offputting. I just want something that, when we’re all clumped up at the gate in a BG/M+ running in place, go go go mode engaged etc, visually stands out, you know?

Oh, yeah, for sure.
Like, I wasn’t expecting something like the tome or wandering ancient.
Because a lot of players are adapted that these achievements have 2 rules.
- Mount achievements are added almost ever 4-5 years.
- Blizzard doesn’t want to provide an unique model because other players will feel excluded, while keeping unique models on instance content.
I don’t see why we shouldn’t, to be fair. The tome they designed for an intentionally very small audience - likely fewer players total than have 500 mounts right now. The Ancient they designed and gave out for free.
If they can design the tome to reward a small number of players who complete a difficult feat ingame (completing all MT runs) why not another mount to reward a small number of players who complete a different kind of difficult feat (grinding out 500 mounts, which could take literal years depending on RNG)?

from a stat i saw earlier today, only 6% of players even have the 400, the 500 is going to be more rare but not by much i feel
All of the collection achievement mounts are just recolors of existing stuff…
