Walmart sells new 50$ game cards for battle.net and it says you can use it for in game purchases and stuff, but I want to know if I can use it to purchase game time for WoW ?
Its a Battle.net card for $50 of value to be used within Battle.net. IN game purchases, buying games themselves or for (-as clarified below, the 2 month blocks of gametime) NOT for monthly subscriptions. Cant guarantee it would work in the gear store myself however.
Kind of like buying a restaurant gift card that covers 5 different restaurants. Its not bound to one game or location, but all within the Umbrella of Battle.net
When I read the details on the card I assumed it could be used to buy in-game WoW store mounts and all that. I wasn’t clear if I could purchase Game Time for my WoW sub…
You can’t use it for a subscription but you can buy the blocks of two months of game time.
This ^
And you can use it to buy mounts off the store! It does apply taxes though.
This here is correct
This is also important. Depending on where you live anything you buy on the Bnet websites or games may be taxed or have fees. Those differ depending on the laws where you live.
You can see all the details and restrictions for what Battlenet Balance can be used for here
Thank you for clarifying
