I dont have a bone in this, but when its referencing a minor child, its talking about the 13-18 age range.

You can do either if they are a minor, and under 13. You can let them use your license, or you can make a different license on the same Blizzard license. If they are under 13, you could even create a different Blizzard account in your name. If they are over 13, you can create a Blizzard account in their name though, this way you can do things like chat via battle net at the same time, and pet battle. With no correction from Vrak, as they always do if they see something that is even just slightly wrong, and with Vrak saying these two things:

You may, at your discretion, allow a minor child, that you are the parent or legal guardian of, access to your account. They can essentially play on the WoW account you are registered to, if you wish.

If you want to give them their own WoW account to play on, you could add it to your current Battle.net account. I would recommend that you create a separate Battle.net account, under your name, that they’ll use.

We KNOW that they are talking about a kid that’s below 13 years old, because that’s what Vrak is referencing.

But go ahead, if you think this is wrong … grab a link of the OP and ask about it over on the Customer Support page. And yes, I do trust Vrak on this - like anyone who regularly uses these forums should.
