1.) Give us a dedicated, cross server looking-for-group mode for PvP
We had this in the form of the old LFM tab, which was then intentionally removed by Blizzard. On smaller servers this was literally the only way to find arena partners. By removing this, Blizzard basically removed the ability for anyone not on Benediction (or Firemaw in the EU) to find partners. PLEASE RETURN THE PVP TAB!
2.) Give us the ability to also queue with the opposite faction for arenas.
An actually lore compliant choice, and something that makes way more sense to me than Alliance vs Alliance bgs. Furthermore, this would help a lot of the Horde players who struggle to find arena mates because 90% of all people went Alliance.
3.) Let us be able to select our own racials!
Something that will undoubtedly help PvE as well as PvP, allowing racial bonuses to be chosen will prevent further stacking of PvPers on the Alliance faction. No longer are you forced to go human to be competitive, now you can be a night elf or even a troll on the Horde. This would greatly revive the Horde PvP scene like the above suggestion.
4.) Give us a rated Solo-Queue option
Probably the most controversial argument, give people who can’t find partners or at least don’t want to deal with the headache of finding people the option to solo queue arenas. Unlike retail, don’t separate these players into their own queue, but keep them in the rated queue in order to boost participation and keep the ladder healthy.
5.) Bring back Skirmishes
Something that was intentionally removed in OG Cata and didn’t return until many expansions later, skrims were a beloved feature that allowed you to solo-q arenas and test out new UI, practice comps you don’t play, or whatever for no reward. Removing this feature was a mistake in the original MoP and still is a mistake not to have.
