5 raid instance lockout hurting players

I understand that the 5 raid instance lockout was applied to inhibit raid trash farming/botting. However, this limit doesn’t have the 10/25 man lockout change for Wrath in mind. Currently, our raid team is running into issues where we run Naxx25/OS25/Maly25/VoA25 and then we jump into 10 man teams wanting to do the single boss raids. We run into issues where we can do an OS10 and then we are stuck locked out waiting to enter a Maly 10, and then stuck again for a VoA 10. We’re essentially forced to do Naxx 10 first, but we don’t always want to do Naxx 10 on the same night.

This lockout system is also frustrating since it’s account wide, so you can’t go quickly kill solo raid boss instances on your alt while you wait for your main to time out.

Please reconsider or modify the 5 raid instance lockout. Whether it be changed to 5 per raid size, or increased to 8 lockouts (two tours), something needs to change for the current state of the game.

This sounds like an issue that only effects top 1% guilds who Speedrun all raids in 1 go. They won’t change it it’s been like this forever

Incorrect, this was a hotfix implemented on September 23, 2022. This has been live for just over a month.

Just take a 5 min bio break between speed running your raids and you should be fine. This is pretty much a non issue

Who’s out here speed running Maly, OS and VoA? Affects all guilds that can clear those raids without wiping.

Haven’t run into this, but I can see it happening.

We just do a 10m world tour or a 25 tour so max 4 instances per night.

My team ran into this issue this week. It was really frustrating.

Each week bosses are dying 10-30 seconds faster. If this trend continues, more and more raids will find themselves in the same position.

Always considered my raid a “dad guild”. Surprised to see some people comment this affects only the "top 1%.

Maybe it isn’t/won’t affect the bottom 1%? This is clearly a ticking bomb and rising concern.
