Wonder if my math is right on this. So if I average 500 points, and every rank up is 2500. That’s 5 games for one rank up. To get renown 40 I’d need to play about 200 games give or take depending on the 500 points or not.

Yes BUT the daily reward let’s you get like 1500 pretty easily in one game so if you spread it over the entire six weeks you won’t have to play nearly as many games

Between the quests and plunder buffs its pretty easy to get more than 500 per game (and I suck at pvp).

Also, once you start getting used to it, you can definitely net 1000 per round easily.
Orrrrrr you can run into a special person who insists on pvping at level 2. Yay. A whole whopping 100 plunder you get for killing me this early into the round. Don’t spend it all in one place.
(Seriously, pvp me at the end and you get like 800-900 exp EASY, I suck at pvp but I am good at scrounging)

Nope.
Just got killed as I was dinging 2. All of 47 plunder. Big whoop. Lemme get fat and then I will LITERALLY SIT IN THE MIDDLE OF A FIELD WAITING TO GET KILLED. We BOTH win.
I’m interested in good, fun gameplay, not the reward loop
Being encouraged to do the world quest then jump into the storm isn’t compelling and shouldn’t be encouraged; they should’ve be incentivizing pve’ing and pvping well at all stages of the game
I’ve actually stopped doing that. Like I said, I get fat, then I go into the hectic melee at the end.
I’m glad you’re finding this gameplay fun.
