33 deaths in a 4 is like 30ish too many even for learning folks. It isn’t the tyrannical week so even the dreaded 3rd boss isn’t nearly as bad.
Edit - No cap fr fr run heroic NP and even the first half of BRD. They throw runed crests at you and even a semi competent pug can handle 5 or 6 of 8 in NP and 3-4 of BRD.
Wasn’t bosses that got us. Was trash near beginning, wipe on 1st boss, that 1 pack before bridge wiped us like 3 times. We 1 shot the bosses aside from the 1st, but it was trash killing us and the healer affix
A bad tank will turn a dungeon into 45 minutes. Bad DPS will add to it.
Just had a guildie tank NW and he doesn’t tank, was an alt run. It was a complete disaster. The tank can soak up every single GCD and cooldown you have, like if I stopped healing the tank at any point it was a wipe, I started just letting the DPS die because I couldn’t stop healing the tank.
That’s what a bad tank will do to a group. I’m not sure if people are realizing it or?
If you complete it, it isn’t failure. If you didn’t time it your key doesn’t get bumped up, but you didn’t totally fail if you stay to complete.
If they want people to not bail on keys, then this is the solution, cause expecting us to waste 40 mins+ for nothing aint the answer, just turns me off from wanting to login.
If you don’t like how untimed keys work, then time your keys.
And if a key isn’t able to be timed, then leave.
You making the choice to stick around in a key doesn’t make others not respect your time. Not to mention that “respecting player’s time” is one of the most out-of-context quotes used.
Beyond that we have threads on for an example Reddit where they outline that the people who were banned are people who have left hundreds of runs … just to ruin the dungeon. There’s worlds apart in terms of folks who just left the group for a reason, and those who left for no other reason than to purposefully grief the team.
You wouldn’t be reported for leaving a key on the basis that it wouldn’t be timed. This thing you referencing being yet another example of something people take out of context.
These type of runs are the only runs I used to leave, ones that were bad and full of lots of early deaths and that wouldn’t time. But then they had to say that we’ll be punished for it so now I suffered through the torture
If you’re leaving one or two keys that you think aren’t going to be timed, that’s one thing, they aren’t going to bat their eyelashes twice for that. It’s leaving 9/10 of them over and over that’s going to raise red flags. I mean come on this is not rocket science really.
If all you run is low keys there’s a chance 9/10 of them are going to be awful. I rarely ever have keys timed in the 4-6 range. When I got KSM and did +7’s they were so much smoother then any +4 I ever did lol
