Whitemane is however, one of the only remaining high+ pop servers that has retained a relatively even faction balance ratio. Its success in that arena will continue to be its downfall.

Ah, yeah, when a server becomes dominated by one faction this is usually due to other faction leaving.
Well, whatever Blizzard does, people will cry. Layering? That wasn’t in vanilla, it’s toxic, muh immersion, etcetc. New serves and free transfers? You’re killing the community!
Nope, none that I’m aware of. We briefly had some Taiwanese streamers on Horde side with Smorc, but they quit months ago.
There are no big names or even smaller names that stream on whitemane it’s just a day one server that had its population saturated from min 1 when they allowed names the be reserved
That’s pretty strange. My server doesn’t have any streamers, and we get the occasional queue, but I log in at noon and don’t log out until cough5amcough, so I’ve only noticed it once or twice. Faction balance is probably Horde dominant but not obnoxiously so. Actually I should probably make an Ally and check out Ironforge and see how the pop is.
So Whitemane sounds like a pretty popular server on it’s own huh.
What’s funny about this is the end game raids and mythic+ dungeons in the “easy mode weenie hut jr wow” are by all accounts way harder than any content Classic has to offer.
