4 hour maintenance?

Literally all they have to do is lift the income cap and SS would never run out, or even come close. There is unimaginable wealth in this country but because of the extremely low cap the funds are low. That’s it. Also abuse is at an all time low historically so I’m not going to lose any sleep over it. No reasonable person who is aware of the facts would. I do agree abusers spoil it but since they are by far a small minority, it would be incredibly silly to focus on that and use it as an insult to the much larger majority who are just trying to get by and feed their kids.

I remember 12+ hour maintenance, 4 hours is nothing. Getting game time for down servers was great in BC.

ahhh yes, I remember those as well. maintenance day you just didn’t log in for 12 hrs. the “good ol days”

And once you did get in, it was only a matter of time until the world server would crash again. All things considered, 4 hours don’t seem so bad in comparison.

IMO they should switch over to shorter daily resets like eve did. their server restart times are down to 10 minutes or less each day, and maybe 30 minutes at most for major patches which is MUCH less annoying in the grand scheme of things.
even if I regularly played during downtime, i’d much rather only be kicked off for about as long as it takes to go grab a sandwich than to wait around for an hour or more.

The worst maintenance perios have been those where they extended several times, and finally, approximate time has been changed to “TBD”.
