3rd party software queue?

so is queuing for BGs with third party software that tells you who is on the enemy team a thing now? i hate to post on these forums… last time i did was in vanilla and someone said my shaman just likes to QQ… thanks, community. but i NEED to post now. i been doing warsong scramble all night, as horde, trying to complete “something different” and we been getting steamrolled … i mean like 30HK to 2HK, maybe 1 flag capped on our side if we’re lucky, and, wow… alliance are just insanely awesome at warsong. til someone said that they recognize the names on the enemy team and said they use 3rd party software before entering the BG. well, seeing as that is cheating and not allowed, how are they getting away with it? so after that i went in one more time to get a screenshot of the other team and to find out what i could.

horde entered, we got 9 people before the BG started, and 0 alliance. once it started, they all entered at once. don’t know if that means anything but it’s sus. and sure enough, we got steamrolled - if they’re not in discord, then they’re just THAT good. and we were a PUG so what do we know about PVP.

so anyway, is it worth it to report players? or can i just find a premade that uses 3rd party software and stomp the other team because i know i can get away with it now?? how much fun would that be, to cheat like that? sounds like a lot of fun. for those who cheat i mean.

anyway you can reply to this thread if your heart moves you to, maybe you’re alliance who’s thinkin i just likes to QQ and can’t resist pointing that out, or maybe you want to just say git gud or something, but either way, i’m not coming back to view your reply because i will never froget the last time i posted and how i’m now forced to make this one.

meanwhile i’m off to play alliance so i can use 3rd party software to Q and get away with it. sounds like oodles of fun. PS shame on horde if we use it too. SHAME.

Report them? Yes.
Will anything be done? Who knows.

There has been lots of talk of these unlisted addons, but Blizzard doesn’t communicate anything with us, so who knows if they are being dealt with. I do know some of the players who were defending there use a few months ago no longer post here, so maybe some got banned…? Also, addons that were helping players dodge other groups has supposedly been dealt with, but again, who knows what impact it really made.

All we do know is that these queue syncing groups can do this with or without addons or third party software. In the end, Blizzard needs to prevent these group from being able to stack a single side. They have plenty of ways to prevent this and so far have chosen to do nothing. It’s very unfortunate to say the least.

Believe they made this change to prevent people from dodging one another.

Yes probably for the best to stay away from here if this affects you

It’s a hot topic right now and people don’t like losing. When losing, they tend to exaggerate wildly. “I recognize the entire enemy team” generally means “I recognize 1 or 2 of the people on the enemy team, therefore I’m going to tell everyone I recognize them all and it’s 100% sync queue group”

Someone saying he recognizes players on the other team does not mean the other team is queue syncing. It is incredibly rare to run into a group who does this in random BGs/brawl, it’s far more likely the other team had a party of up to 5 which is not in any way cheating. I play far more BGs than most and I’ve run into 1 sync queue group this entire expansion so far…over hundreds of BGs

And this is how rumors get started. People think others are cheating so they start piecing together parts of a puzzle that don’t fit. This was an intentional and recent change made by blizz to keep people from getting information on the other team before the gates open. The enemy group will show up on the scoreboard once both teams are full or when the gates open. You can confirm this by looking across open BGs like AB/eots etc and you’ll see red players in the other starting zone

Not gonna lie, didn’t see this till I edited my post. What a pointless thread of someone very mislead

They are called addons.
Learn to program lua and write your own if you want to compete.
Otherwise just download them and use as needed.

They are not ‘cheating’
If Blizzard didnt want macros and addons in the game we would not have them.
You know, there are people smarter than you and better than you in things in life.
Instead of calling them ‘cheaters’, put in some effort (like your forum post) and learn…
and this goes for everyone as well (even me) not just the poster of this thread.

What’s also suspect about these kinds of uninformed/no-logic OPs is that some people just mindlessly “like” them and agree with them, simply because they have an enormous beef with the general concept of “sync premades,” regardless of the context of the thread. When I see these posters I know it’s going to be another useless thread made up of venting over losses blaming it entirely on “premades” they invent after seeing one name they think they recognize.

Mainly, what I don’t understand is their need to continually post the same things over and over again. Play or don’t play. Play or AFK out. But stop making stuff up just because you die in a BG or aren’t working well with your own teammates.

This is intentional. Blizzard doesn’t want you seeing who’s on the other side until their team is nearly full. Very recent change.

As far as I can tell, queue syncing is allowed. So waiting to take a queue until your “community” feels they have all of the Brawl spots filled by players in their discord is allowed. So communication like discord with players you’ve chosen to play with before the instance was ready for you is allowed. So setting criteria like item level and inspection of “community” members talents, gems, embellishments, ect prior to queuing up is allowed. So a brawl team you are facing could be pre-screened to ensure they play optimally and that is allowed. And then you enter, maybe you queue solo, maybe you’re less than BIS geared, and no matter what you do you can’t overcome the 8 enemies all targeting the same player when a name is spoken by a target caller. None of this is new so it isn’t news.
