It’s an option. You can either do the grind and fly OR not do the grind with the added option to QQ about it in the forums.

I know several people who don’t want to do it because they like to ride and the flight masters whistle works just fine.

Because 8.2 is a failure and boring as heck. Classic is around the corner and looking MUCH better as an option due to BFA and 8.2 failing so hard. No I’m not advertising Classic, just saying…the current experience is very tiresome with so much stupid RNG behind everything and grinding everything.

The only way to NOT get pathfinder is to literally not play the game. Exploring the zones is basically done for you through quest chains, and the rep is only revered.

I imagine the people complaining about pathfinder taking too long just stay in SW or Org all day talking in Trade.

Except this isn’t true at all. You have to grind 100 World Quests to get it. I absolutely despise that content. They could give out Mythic raid gear for the rewards and I still wouldn’t do it.

37% of accounts or 37% of all 120 characters? You can have multiple 120s per account and perhaps it’s only counting the character that earned the actual achievement, since you only have to get it once.

One of my toons earned it, only one is counted as having it as a result. But I have twelve 120s in the air now. The other eleven will show as not having pathfinder because they don’t but they’re all mine, one account. To get an accurate number of how many players have pathfinder it needs to go by account, not individual toons.

But, I hate this pathfinder crap with a passion. It is NOT fun in the slightest and a GAME is supposed to be fun. It felt like a job. Not good, especially when there are so many alternatives to this game now.

I don’t have part 2 done. In fact I think I still have some minor garbage to do for part 1 still. No grinding, just easy bits I didn’t care to do.

Fact of the matter is flight is totally optional and I don’t enjoy the sort of content that unlocks it, so I don’t have it.

World Quests being all there is in the non-instanced world is kinda lame. Maybe I’d care more about flight if there was more than that out there. World Quests are not engaging, they’re filler.

Working as intended? BFA pathfinder is probably one of the most boring content grinds I have ever experienced in WoW.

I’d do the the Tibermaw rep grind 10 times over rather than grinding Pathfinder another expansion.

i was as lazy as i possibly could be about it. did only things that would give me character power. like getting the galv things from mechagon from the WQ and only doing emissaries and pearl WQ for naz. at the end i did a couple of pet battles in naz to finish up (thanks again for the help btw) and i’ve had it for a while now.

most of it was stuff that i’d be doing anyway.

also i love that mount and am using it on a ton of toons right now. lol
