Depends on the context of timegating. I’d argue that it took almost year. As I stated earlier in this thread, I quit before I had the opportunity to do it because I was tired of what the game had to offer.
You only need revered for Pathfinder Part 2.

That’s one opinion. Another is that it’s perfectly fine the way it is, it could just stand to be moved up to being available to work on immediately at cap. But again, if you want to farm rep by killing mobs 1 at a time for 5 rep enjoy Classic! WoW hasn’t been that for a long time and it’s never going back to that.

Scrolling up in these forums are wonky. I didn’t see him say he hit Exalted. Or that he got pathfinder in that time either I suppose, so nuts on me anyways.
Yeah and the 3 quest of the follower, mostly for the manapearls.

That’s exactly what people are arguing, only that in addition to moving it up, you also remove the time-gating on reputations.

The only way to NOT get pathfinder is to literally not play the game. Exploring the zones is basically done for you through quest chains, and the rep is only revered.
I imagine the people complaining about pathfinder taking too long just stay in SW or Org all day talking in Trade.

Is that percentage from those who have wowhead accounts?
I think an interesting metric would be to compare BFA pathfinder completion to Wrath/Cata/MoP completion roughly one year after release. I suspect the numbers of those with flying/percentage of the latter three expansions would be higher than BFA currently.

I’m curious if this includes Alts or is this just the character that has earned PF?
I’d be cool with farmable drops giving rep - rep tokens - like we had in WoD with the steamwheedle cartel. Kill rares and get a chance at 10-20 rep token. Something that would allow those will more time to grind out flying, if they want, but not entirely overkill in terms of reputation gained. Maybe even make them non-soulbound?

Yeah, nothing to see here.
I’m just over half way to revered with mech and naz (I started late due to taking a break from wow after getting part one). Currently I seem to be crawling along with the rep, with limited options on how to farm it.
I do all my dailies, then I go do regular dailies for the measly 10 rep per quest. There’s no missions for either on my table, there’s no rep to be gained in instances, simply killing mobs does nothing.
Right now I want to start working on an alt, but pathfinder literally takes up all my game time. And I feel like the bars are barely moving. It’s not fun in the slightest.
The timegating was a terrible move, and now we have to run a marathon with sneakers made of concrete.

I addressed your argument. Flying was not available upon the release of BFA. It became available in patch 8.2. I got flying 9 days later. If you want to pretend that the time it wasn’t available that counts cool. But that’s a semantic debate where you’re arguing over how we’re categorizing the time period it wasn’t available. You understand the time period I’m talking about. Which means your argument is garbage.

What’s the strawman? You want to be able to grind rep like people used to. That’s exactly how we used to grind rep. Or we used to grind rep by farming/buying boe items that came from…grinding mobs.
