37 % of 120s have Pathfinder part 2

Pretty much. Just nuke the furblogs in the timbermaw area. They drop the feathers you can turn in for rep. If you going for the diplomat title, it is also easy, because the sporeggar faction in zangarmarsh has that repeatable kill naga quest you can do over, and over for rep lol. the other faction Nagrand was a little more tedious, because warbeads didn’t seem to drop as often as the timbermaw feathers for some reason. As for BFA pathfinder part 2, I only got as far as friendly before just burning out. I barely even log into the game now. Play more games on steam now.

This right here is why I can’t take the forums seriously.

It wasn’t simple. A lot of people had a hard time to get that Gold in the beginning. What I meant is that people just aren’t specifically grinding it out but playing the game at their own pace.

Saying Pathfinder shouldn’t be part of a ‘‘content cycle’’, ya I agree. But there are other factors to see that there is a whole 'nother group that go into the game with the mentality that they will get flying when they get it. That’s all I meant.

How many people use wowhead? And of those people that use wowhead, how many upload their data? I am betting not that many. Because that’s only way wowhead gets it’s data, from people using the add on to collect/upload data.

37% have Pathfinder2 completed.

No idea if that is accurate. But assuming it is, that sounds fine. Most of the rest are probably well on their way through their grind and will have Pathfinder2 soon.

60% of the time… Works every time.

Have fun walking until level 40.

Or they don’t care.

Neither my main nor my main-alt have any reason to do the mechagon grind save for flying and seeing as I couldn’t care less…

Last time I checked you can’t fly in instances.

So you’re saying that, even though you wanted (or would at least be willing to) continue grinding, you were artificially held back from doing so by Blizzard? Forced to wait, in order to complete the objective?

That’s time gating.

IT was better when it was locked through a quest chain liek Surumar, this is irritating. I Nazjatar until revered, now I am in Mechagon, granted I cannot play too often right now, but man. It’s feels more tedious.

I wouldn’t mind Pathfinder if the gating was less blatant.

Doubtful. 8.2 has pretty much nothing else to do, and even if you go lightly on the WQs or miss several days (I missed almost the entire first week) it’ll take maybe 2-3 weeks. The patch has been out about twice that now. There are people still working toward it, but I strongly suspect it’s hit the plateau.

The same stats list other achievements like Heart Forge, and only about 67% even bothered with the introductory questline to 8.2. That’s after a content patch resub bump.

Oh well. If those others don’t want to get flight, that’s fine with me.

They have the option to get flying if they want. And in the meantime I can feel superior flying around on my mage Legion class mount (flying garbage can lid)!

37% of 120’s have flying, but what percentage of 120’s are even still playing, I know pathfinder was among my biggest reasons to stop playing, only resubbed for the classic stress test.

Pretty much this. Achievement stats are about the only way we have to measure subscriber attrition and participation. When you have only 2/3 of all 120s – again, after a patch release resub bump – having done the 15 minute questline to unlock essences, that tells me 1/3 of the base the xpac started with is just gone outright. Like, no matter how you frame the distribution of alts and accounts across those 120s, that’s an alarming figure.

If half of even those haven’t been doing the only available content for a couple weeks by now, they probably packed up and left too upon seeing how thin the content was. Remember, Pathfinder is account wide and does show up on alts – even if all it takes is logging into them to get it to pop, it means not even that is happening.

I just got Path 1 and only have about a week before I complete 2.

Lol, yeah I was thinking the same thing. I don’t mind the rep grind but the time gating with the rep grind makes things really unfun. Let me grind for 12hrs if I feel like it. Then if I don’t touch it again for 2 weeks great, I can make it up on the back end.
This design of missing a daily quests puts you that much further behind is just…

Blizzard: “Guess WoW players don’t actually want flying then, let’s just take it away forever then”

I was a few small items away from pathfinder in WOD.

When I sat down to knock it out, I realized I had seen enough of the place and unsubbed.

In Legion, I didn’t even pay attention to it. Once this toon was max level, I unsubbed again.

Only resubbed this time for classic.

Sounds like that 73% needs to get to work.

If they designed the new lands to be as traversable as in classic, I would have zero problem with that.

The smaller, more tightly packed areas are just so tedious to get around in.

I’m part of that 73% because a. I don’t want to do it, it’s boring and not fun and b. if an important part of the game like unlocking/having flying is that unfun, I’m not playing the game anymore and playing something else.
