37 % of 120s have Pathfinder part 2

I’ll agree with that. There are a disproportionate amount of shills/ fanatics that can’t let the game go, present on these forums.

I agree.

Still, some charts/graphs/ a source would be nice.
I’m in your corner here, but I got nothing to defend myself with without a source.

They should just revert back to the MoP model. Upon hitting max level you can buy flying. Update it to where you buy it once it’s unlocked for all your characters. Then any new zones they create for max level players can be ground only.

They are though. I’ve seen some crazy mental gymnastics from people that are in complete denial about the state of the game. I often see the same high post count posters just spew snarky responses at people over and over.

Many times, they are just one liners without no substance at all.

  1. People with no self control? That’s their issue, not everyone else’s.

  2. The “forced to do” people will always be there; however, in this case, they will be wrong. Removing the gating means that you can do things at your own pace. Instead of having to do x every day, at the risk of losing out, you could do nothing on day one and 2_x_ on day two.

  3. Again, benthic is gear, gear = power, and thus works a bit differently than flying.

i enjoy the game. i wouldn’t have a sub if i didn’t. i didn’t mind getting pathfinder and now all my toons forevermore can fly in bfa zones.

we can just agree to disagree because neither of us is going to change the other persons mind.

My source is in the first post. If you read through the FAQ it explains their methodology. There isn’t any data that we can extrapolate that is 100% accurate at this point unless it comes from Blizzard themselves.

Which part of what I wrote do you disagree with, and why?

I’m open to a well-reasoned argument.

It’s not even the time gating, develop a main questline in each zone that upon finishing it, we have gained enough rep to be revered, like we have had in older zones. In Legion for example, for the most part, when you finished all the outdoor quests, then the dungeon quest that went with it, you were at least revered. I have no desire to grind out what are very boring world quests that serve no purpose outside of getting +63 reputation gain. Thats how you burn out players.

in legion didn’t the named mob quests give more rep? like 250 or something? or am i remembering wrong?

Dude, I quoted their own FAQ.
" Where do those stats come from ?

Those stats come from an exploration of the World of Warcraft Official website (http://us.battle.net/wow/en/).

Has this website any link with Blizzard Entertainment ?

No.

How often do you gather those data ?

Those stats are gathered about every day.

What character sheets do you analyze ?

Every players from EU, US realms, with :

  • a 1800+ rating are analyzed (pvp)
  • at least 1 bosses killed in mythic mode (pve)"

They say themselves that they’re only analyzing stats from characters with 1800+ rating and/or who have killed at least one mythic boss. It’s true that’s “not only 2200+ or 4+/7 players.”

But if they say in one place that they’re analyzing “all” 120’s, and in another it’s, “Every players from EU, US realms, with : a 1800+ rating are analyzed (pvp) at least 1 bosses killed in mythic mode (pve)”, can we really accept anything they’re saying?

Wrong. That’s a strawman summary of what I wrote that’s spinning what I said to mean something else. What I actually said was this:

At no point did I say it was dishonest to say it was time gated. I explicitly pointed out some grindy things people could do beyond the base daily quests to get to flying faster.

No I said I don’t see that as a problem. Exactly like I said in the first post that you keep referring to. Do I need to use smaller words for you?

They have. Within the confines of a system that only allows players to earn a set amount per day. And it’s fine as is.

Again, I’m not certain what’s confusing about this. I like logging in and knocking out dailies working on something. I despise logging in and killing mobs endlessly for hours for 5 rep a pop. The former I find fun. The latter I don’t. The end!

you’re so much more patient than i am, dude. lol

TY, I can work with this.

Just to clarify your source is https://www.worldofwargraphs.com/

And the stat you are referencing is:

Battle for Azeroth Pathfinder, Part Two 37.9%

Looks legit.

Seriously, Nyl isn’t interested in the facts or logic of an argument.

it’s just late, and he hasn’t been tucked in yet.

Let him be.

Nyl gets cranky.
