I’m back trying to enjoy WoW again and find [all my mains](h ttps://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/975438795283505273/1112078867461591100/image.png) are stuck on now a server that has 36 horde players left on it… and over 20,000 alliance - yet I’m not offered a free server transfer… why?
(If this gets noticed by someone that can do something about this - I would like them to go to Grobbulus.)
You’re now the general of the horde. Only you can stop the pale skin menace.

idk! They had free transfers between Benediction and Faerlina for a couple of months at least. Not sure why they turned them off.

Not sure if you knew this but Blizzard only cares about making money, they don’t really care about if you’re having fun on the game.
But I’m sorry that really sucks, you should be given a free server transfer or a free swap to the other faction side.

You can always faction xfer.
You should check for free xfers also. A while back they were offering free xfers off the mega-servers so I was able to get a bunch of my alliance characters off of Faerlina.
My primary characters are geared towards PVP, and I find it unsatisfying to be part of a 20,000-strong alliance fighting against only 30 horde players.

They had free transfers between Bene and Faerlina for a while. I’m not sure why they turned them off or if they will open them up again, but I thought that was kind of cool while it lasted.

my server is dying fast, moving 3 of my characters to mankirk this coming up week. At this point, there is no other choice if you want to play the game. The only good players that are left are already in fairly stable guilds. Sucks, when a server dies, but what can ya do.

Yeah, it does.
I transferred two max-level toons from Skyfury to Whitemane a few months back, so I could keep raiding on them. Then about 2-3 months later, they offered free transfers.
Sucks to lose names, but it is what it is, I guess 
i feel that’s what is going to happen to me, but the characters im sending over, im sending over with like 200 flasks a crapload of saronite and triggers for sappers lol. Imma leave my main and 2 farmers on windseeker to raid on the main. When the server continues its downfall i hope i can get that free transfer. Its coming sooner or later. Even the pug discord that used to have sign ups everyday for raids is dead. sad sad sad.

it is because your server needs more horde players, not less.
if you took a free transfer, the number 36 would decrease further, to 35. They need to increase it, not decrease it.

they need to get rid of that divide between alliance and horde like how retail did it, the game is almost 20 years old, remove the restrictions already.

Welcome to a problem that’s been around since 2019.
You literally cannot play the game and MUST pay to transfer, except nearly all the servers you’d want to go to are locked.
I can only imagine the thousands of players that quit because of it.
