I’m not saying there should be a transparency, just that having blind faith that no changes have happened since then does not mean there have been no changes.
Because…
Amazing how it has become a more effective gold sink as time passes. That can’t have been the intent. Could it?

Definitely.
At least in my case, it’s also because I kept accumulating gold and just never had any use for it. So after a while I just thought “might as well use this and save a few bucks” and have been buying tokens with gold for a few months, now.
I don’t even farm gold, I’ve just naturally accumulated a lot over almost 20 years of play.
How is it a gold sink? The gold doesn’t disappear. It just change hands. You are aware what a gold sink is right?

And having blind faith changes did happen doesnt mean there have been changes.
See, when you are dealing with feelings and not data…the entire argument can be twisted pretty easily.
But isnt that how supply and demand works?
More gold exists, so the price of it went up?
yea in my case I just do my b-weekly dragon riding wq. With 10 toons at max level that’s roughly 62k gold a week

I got a chuckle out of this for too many wrong reasons.
Same here I’ve been making bank with the dragon riding wq as well I think I’ve got about 20 characters that can do it so far. Working my way to caping my WoW account to 60 characters that can do it. I figure about 15 characters per the 3 days for the wq is up.

even if they brought back more easy gold to make it wouldnt lower the token price. the only way it lowers is if more people want to spend $$$ on gold.
yea the quest itself takes 10mins max per char. So it’s really a huge time sink and it’s pretty worth doing

LOL. u are really amusing. Auction House traders who basically do nothing else but buy and sell on massive levels do need to pay real money for tokens.
I myself made my millions working the gold missions from the mission tables with my army of alts. In fact each year at Christmas time, I donate gold to a few friends so they can buy a token for free game time.

It might be 500k if Blizz doesn’t release the new raid before Blizzcon and they announce preorders for the new expansion “The Rise of the Tuskarrs.”
How hard is it really to recolor the Bruto blue and slapped it on the vendor for 10 million? The green one cost 5 million in BFA. If people brought that one then they don’t need the blue one. The green one will still be rare.
people who have the green one will absolutely still buy the blue one.
10M gold is nothing to the big boys. this wouldn’t even make a dent.
According to the BLS inflation calculator, if Bnet had kept up the price of the subscription to inflation since 2004, WoW would now be $24/mo. So, really game time is cheaper then it’s ever been.
