300k needed for a WoW Token? How is this a thing? There is no callings or mission tables. Farming ore and herbs nets you 1 gold per node.
WoW needs more gold sinks.

WoW needs more gold sinks.
Once again explaining how WoW tokens work:
At the start of every expansion, the gold price goes DOWN.
As each expansion goes along, the gold price goes UP.
There is a smaller supply of people wanting to pay real money for the fake kind right now. $15 isn’t too much to pay if you consider it by the hour used in a month.
I feel like this music needs to be in the background as Brewa narrates his “Here we learn about tokens” post!
you just don’t know how to make gold.
That fits perfectly!
“This is Timmy. Timmy wants to play WoW.”
Oh my goodness, I was just about to use “Timmy” as an example.
You do know it’s not generating gold right?
It’s changing hands from buyer to seller
That’s why its called that. 300K?? WOW!!
Or it would be called Discount Token, or Peasant Token.
What’s interesting is that talking for 10 minutes and saying absolutely nothing isn’t a new phenomenon restricted to youtubers.
Sales in the store/other Blizzard products pushes token price up as well, since a lot more folks are buying tokens for gold in order to get balance for said things.
So, now that we’ve run the experiment, can I have my mission table back?
go play classic its 4k or 5k unless it changed recently. :') can only use it for sub though. way better bang for your time if sub time is your only goal for a month
I am all for mission tables to return. They were a fun thing to do. I enjoyed collecting resources and sending out the little dudes out.
It had no effect on raiding. So there was no reason to nuke them.
So glad i bought a bunch when they were 130k
BG3 also released causing people to stack some sub time and go play BG for a few months lol
Valdrak is a ghost town now.
OP, were at the point of an expansion where there is less people buying WoW tokens to be put on the AH then there are people buying WoW tokens on the AH.
On top of that, you have Blizzard upping their monetization in their games (Diablo 4, Overwatch 2, Diablo immortal etc) lately so if those people do play those games will buy a WoW token to get items from those games with WoW gold.
Only way for WoW tokens to drop in price is if there is a sudden surge of people buying WoW tokens through the shop or during in an expansion launch,
Tokens ARE a gold sink.
