30 Runs is

it’s deflates the economy.
Inflation requires money to be pushed into the economy due to low supply.
We have to much surplus of items that their value are low, and everyone has a lot of gold as resources are more evenly spread cuz AoE farmers are stuck in dungeons.

This change legit’s causes inflation because prices now go up because of lacking resources requiring an injection of currency. We will never get an injection of currency because it would require dynamic spawning and at that point a rogue would out farm a mage any day cuz you sit at spawn point and spam SS, they’ll just respawn moments later (same with herbs).

Or fully takeover the black lotus spots

I agree that this change doesn’t necessarily put a stop to Botters which is why I don’t think the Bots is the -only- target. The Blue OP was very clear in using the word “exploitative” which could mean, anything really. Sure, Botting is already exploiting, but the word “exploitative” can mean so many things. Perhaps, the farming methods you described could (not saying that it is) be “exploitative” in the eyes of Blizzard. Only Blizzard knows what they mean, when they say “exploitative”.

gues blizzards eyes everything should be exploitative considering any class can kill a mob, some more effective then others, and some with more mobs then others.

it’s already easy to reach cap if you are farming pre-bis cuz you lvl’d an alt, and some pre-bis is still bis in BWL.

as for gold farmers, or just casually farming gold? the economy became stable already, this change just uped prices anf reduced how much gold none-mages are able to farm each dat, and their the ones with less 50g/hr farming methods already unlike mages.

If you spend your time online telling others they need a better way to spend their time online…maybe you should check yourself first.

Dude do you realize its not even FULL 30 dungeons? for example If im scouting for Jed and I reset 5 times thats 1/6th of my daily dungeons. USE YOUR BRAIN

Just because I’m a Mage, doesn’t mean I’m participating in the things you’re mad that those who can perform well on Mages can accomplish.

It’s really not though. Do you actually play this game? Ever done a jed rend run? Everyone wastes lockouts looking for jed before they even start the run. It’s not uncommon for all ten ppl to burn 3-4 lockouts to find an instance that has jed, then you go to rend and do the whole process again.

At the beginning of classic we did this everyday to gear out our raid with briarwood reeds. It wasn’t uncommon for us to go for 6+ hours in a day resetting and running, this behavior existed in vanilla and wasn’t frowned upon then.

you can still do that, you just cant go sell seventy boost runs afterword in the same day

Thats what im saying man, Its all about resets. its never 30 FULL dungeons its farms for Hand of Justice, SGC, Herbs, Scouting… ANYTHING. People don’t use there brain man I swear.

If I scout jed for 10 resets, thats 1/3 OF my entire dungeon count that day. Such a bad troll seriously

Well you cant expect anything from a lvl 120 panda avatar anyway. I don’t even bother responding to those people.

This guy goes to every single forum about this and trolls, imagine

I’ve heard this excuse used over and over for everything from faction inbalance, to group finder, to dungeon boosting and so on. This excuse is a catch all for a lack of real points and needs to die a quick death.

I agree that the 30 runs a day is a lot and most people are getting mad when the reality is that the vast majority of the community are HIGHLY unlikely to even get near 10 a day. People farming specific dungeon pieces being exceptions, but once they get those pieces, they stop. But using tired, baseless and subjective fear-mongering statements like this doesn’t help.

Anyone that honestly believed Classic would be in any way the same as it was in 2005 was lying to themselves. You can’t erase 15 years of knowledge and access to that knowledge. Nor can you control the way people will use it. Those familiar with the D&D scene will tell you that meta-gaming is a big no-no, and unfortunately WoW Classic and any other subsequent versions of Classic, be it TBC or Wrath will suffer the same way as Classic did. Not because Blizzard is some god awful evil corporation sitting in a giant boardroom plotting the demind of the #nochanges people, but because we know what’s coming, we know what’s on offer and we know what’s the best for us. It’s because the players created their own problems.

An example;

Players KNOWINGLY overloaded servers to one faction. PvE servers this isn’t a big deal, but for PvP servers, those same players now whine about how Blizzard is to blame, despite numerous warnings, and free transfers to other servers. This was met with dumb comments about an empty world and dead servers when a low pop WoW Classic server is still greater then a FULL Vanilla one.

A 30 dungeon discussion can take place, but let’s not sully it further (it’s already a crap show tbh) with baseless crap like that because it adds nothing to the conversation. At the end of the day Blizzard is far from perfect and makes their fair share of mistakes, but the communities insistance to force their subjective opinions on how to best spend their playtime, needs to stop, and stop now.

If you don’t like min/maxing, then don’t do it. But you have zero right to criticize those that do take that time to do so. Just as they have no right to criticize you.

This community is full enough with people making things up to push their agenda and bully other people, don’t be part of the problem, be part of the solution.

Starting a post where you insult people by saying that if you play beyond a certain arbitrary point that you created, is bad karma and makes you look like a tool. But so does ending by claiming “we nerds” don’t realize the point you’re making. You’ve now spread malicious, false information, placed your subjective opinion of how people should play on the reader… 3 times. And insulted them in the opening and closing remarks.

I’d ask ‘How dare you?’ but my guess is that you genuinely don’t care to listen outside of your own echo chamber.

Generally speaking, they aren’t shy about saying what is and isn’t an exploit in that way. I’m much more inclined to believe blizzard caused collateral damage with a heavy handed change than intended damage.

I genuinely hope that isn’t what they meant. Because it’s those sorts of decisions that made me quit retail.

300 runs later, still no HoJ for my rogue…

Im retired. My hobby is doing more than 30 instances a day or ill go back to drinking and drugging. Thanks Blizz. You ruined my life.

lol, jk. thought that was humorous

Everyone that disagrees just quit…bye!
