Yeah it’s pretty clear that spamming dungeon resets was not intended and the original 5 runs per hour should have made that clear too people. It seems like most of the people upset by this simply don’t understand that just because you can technically do something doesn’t necessarily mean you should and they’re upset blizzard curbed their abuse.
After I posted I noticed your avatar is a druid in retail. It wasn’t purposely done to antagonize you but I did wonder how you would respond to it. Glad to see you’re consistent
I don’t know when that changed and I don’t care
This is (in my opinion) a typical opportunistic player quote. If you like a change, like it. If you dislike a change, pull out a year-old “no changes” quote to support you. What baloney!
This rule was added to fight exploits. Blizzard has ALWAYS made game changes to fight exploits. This is not a rule change. It is a very minor restriction to REDUCE (not eliminate) exploits.
Just because this exploit wasn’t a problem in 2005 does NOT mean it is not a problem in 2020. That’s nonsense.
The problem on both sides here is that you morons believe anything blizz says.
if this change is SO DANG GOOD you should have ZERO PROBLEM with it being implemented in retail.
Well since pretty much everyone actually runs the dungeon in retail, and doesn’t just have a high level clear an instance in 5 minutes, or keep going in and out to only farm one boss. Pretty much all of the players on retail will never get anywhere close to 30 instances in 24 hours.
How many people does it actually affect though?
does it really matter? make it a simple weekly lockout instead of daily lock and it doesn’t screw anyone over. and seeing as its already a post vanilla change, it shouldn’t matter.
I’ll admit I’m sure this impacted some number of players that aren’t botting and really aren’t doing anything that exploitative, but blizzard picked 30 for a reason, and I’m betting it’s because the number of regular Joes impacted by this is a tiny tiny fraction of the player base.
then blizzard should have no issue implementing this in retail and screwing them over with it too right?

this is so false its hilarious. plenty of people literally farm certain bosses and certain dungeons for rare mounts, transmogs, pets, etc. don’t even TRY to lie about it.
the point every 1 is missing, people who hit the 30 cap consistently get flagged as a possible bott to be banned with the next ban wave, why not imediately, well if the botts arent allowed to run long enough to be profitible for the gold sellers they would quit buying/making accounts to bott with and blizz looses the money the gold sellers pay in subs. the 30 limit has nothing to do with getting rid of botts just tracking them under the guise “we are trying to get rid of them”
