Yeah let’s add another bandaid on top of this one. We can just have bandaids on top of bandaids.
Just remove the limit and ban the fn botters
The cow is correct. It’s okay to go ham on DPS when your guild has a raid on farm, but especially as we move into progression content, you’re not a good Druid if you try to cat the whole time. Emergency off tanking will happen, battle rezzes and innervates will go out, and barkskin + tranquility will save your melee group’s life. No one invited a feral druid to top the meters; do the dps you can for sure but your priority role is always utility.
Exactly. Pure classes will never know the feeling of being able to quickly make a clutch play.
The 30 instance limit wasn’t a part of original vanilla WoW either.
So you’re saying that you agree with the OP that the limit should be reverted?
Feral does fine without MCP, you just wont be top 5, but you still provide great dps while having great utility (rez/innervate/crit buff/offtanking)
I mean…getting content on farm is such a short span of your raids duration on a tier. 2 weeks? My point was that it is rare your utility will be used on a boss fight unless your raid makes big mistakes. We have four tanks, I’m never needed to pop into bear form. My healers don’t have mana issues + bosses die so fast…so innervate is used on trash clearing (which is the bigger time issue). And of course, I will pop a brez during a boss fight if it is needed, but again, that becomes a raid mess up issue and a key person has to bite the dust (and it’s only once every 30m, so it shouldn’t be affecting your overall parse much).
Isn’t the real issue that ferals need to farm a level 30 dungeon for hours and hours each week to be relevant?
Increasing the drop rate wouldn’t harm anything I guess. Or increasing the charges on MCP. Just seems like the spec isn’t worth the time investment.
Could make it so lower level dungeons don’t have the cap, on the more extreme side just get rid of the charges all together so you only need to farm for one.
You do not need to reach a DPS threshold as a druid to be relevant. Sweaty Try Hards will tell you otherwise but reality is if you utilize your kit and do what needs to be done to kill bosses and HAVE FUN doing it that makes you relevant.
Some players think a druid’s abilities beyond raw DPS are irrelevant.
it is hilarious how the “no lifers” are complaining about not being able to do more than 30 instances per day. minimum 6 hours of played time. rofl. no wonder that wow players are called losers.
I dont no life tho? I just do 20 mins of gnomer, then a 1 hour workout -> 20 mins then walk my dog -> 20 mins then work on an essay. Like if anything be a sweaty tryhard as made me more active and better at studies lmao.
Hello, I am a former rank 1 parsing feral dps and current Field Marshal. I have made it my goal to prove the majority of the community wrong and put out insane numbers in raid. Feral dps has one of the highest skill caps in the game, and in order to even just be relevant you must have: All consumables, all world buffs, and at least 1 crowd pummeler per boss fight. You may think that a feral should be able to gather plenty of crowd pummelers within 30 instances, but you’re wrong. For example, 28/30 of my runs from yesterday did not result in a crowd pummeler drop. And while being so desperate just to get one more MCP (manual crowd pummeler), it is very easy to hit the 30 instance cap and not be able to get DMT buffs for raid. I understand the botting problem, but why screw over the raid spec that has to try harder then everyone else just to be relevant, let alone out perform? Also, how am I supposed to level up my alts through dungeons if I’m having to hit the lockout cap just to get a decent number of MCPs for the week (10 for bwl, 11 for MC, 1 for ONY, 2-3 for ZG)?
DISCLOSER I am not saying Druid’s are the only class negatively affected by these changes, but I am telling my point of view as a Druid player. I hope other classes will also speak out to how this is negatively affecting your experience! <3*
Two possible solutions are:
Revoke this action, or increase the Manual Crowd Pummeler drop rate.
Also, there should be a dungeon lockout tracker similar to the raid info tab that displays your lockout timers.

Why is blizzard implementing this toxic change?
