3% of the Player base must be thrilled

It’s fine. Not like there was another animal humanoid race in the same zone as Vulpera that Alliance were begging for since the beginning of BfA.

Allied Races are a huge success, OK? There are like a dozen people in General Discussion that will tell you so.

Lol “everybody else”. I have a feeling most people don’t give a rats behind about the cultural aspect of thieving, money grubbing desert foxes. I also have a feeling that far more people care about the insanely good mecha-gnome racials.

K how bout this then. Alliance will never get Sethrak because we did like 4 quests for them and never spoke to them again. Same goes for Ankoan, WoD birds are trapped with crazy Yrel and are probably dead and when’s the last time we did anything with the BC birds?

That is a better argument.

Armor/Numbers being a counter to a potential AR just isn’t a solid debate point is all I’m saying. I don’t agree with you on these points, but I personally feel that numbers/armor restrictions just don’t make good debate counter. Especially when we have Void Elves as a playable race when they’re a ‘crack team’ and…Worgen/Tauren existing with wacked out armor fittings and now with Junker Gnomes having…only like Chests and Helms visible.

Ah, you weren’t looking for a discussion. Carry on then.

I mean it wasn’t really an argument for not having Sethrak or Ankoan just an observation.

I’m really hoping one of them is a core race in the next expansion.

The only one I see being a playable race is Sethrak and that’s on Horde side.

They will definitely be next. There’s 2 spots left on the character creation UI for allied races on ptr. Hopefully we find out at Blizzcon if redeemed/light undead and saberon.

But a lot of people want them so…

Or does that only count if it’s something you personally want?

We the players are about to embark on something new we never knew we wanted. The life resuscitation of the gnome race with the inception of the Junker Gnomes.

Breathing life into Gnome Society every where.

I will say, I will stop crying publically if this new allied race for the Alliance somehow gets a Naxxramas-like redo of Gnomeregan. And they need to bring back the Hydrocane with it.

Please Blizz, make this happen!

Well… I was against mechagnomes but they kinda grew on me like mold on bread. To me they feel less like a joke, I also like what story we got for them, I think they would be quite interesting to RP as. As for vulpera? I don’t care about them, they are sand rats who (from the jokes I saw datamined) seem even less moral than goblins and more willing to kill anyone just so they can loot you, a mistake was made, and it was letting sand rats join the Horde.

I think they need more classes, but i mean, we have 2 humans (or is it 3?), 2 dreanei, 4 elves (2 on alliance), 2 dwarves. Seems like it’s time for another gnome.

according to that website most of the non allied races in the game are 5% or less of level 120s so basically this thread applies to every allied race thus far

I just went on the ptr and tried both of the new allied races Vulpera feel so fresh and fun to play as. Mechagnome feels like I’m just playing a gnome again.

Yea they have…news.blizzard.com/en-us/world-of-warcraft/23177594/new-allied-races-preview-vulpera-and-mechagnomes

English Majors need more jobs. STEM doesn’t teach reading comprehension.

The ARs are obviously - obviously - low since they require a rep grind. This is about the Core Race - the Core race - that has been in the game since 2004, with no restriction - no restrictions to play - and they’re still 3%.

Despite Akstons assertion that Vulpera are Goblins because Skeleton. Vulpera are still new. Making them the only Allied Race as far as I know that isn’t a model off of a Core Race.

KTs and ZT got new skeletons, and that’s cool, but they’re an extension of existing races. Small fox people are the only ones that have no link to an exiting core race.
