I wouldnt go that far…He has almost every achievement, hes done every single piece of mythic content EVER released at a high as hell level…He’s in my opinion a warrior prodigy.
Community is about people not about the game that is fundamental. Gear,mounts and raids are game related has nothing to do with how people interact with each other ,you can argue til the cows come home that gear is the most important part of being social ,it’s part but only for an outward manner ,booster with pride does little to help a person in a community when they don’t anything but presenting nothing.

raiders make up maybe 2% of the game, about the same pop percentage as the forums…
The community hasn’t failed, they failed the community by trying to inflate E-sports and the Mythic percentage that is never going to be a hit with WoW players.
I’d say more but this sums it up nicely. WoW doesn’t invest in people and their social dynamics, which is what you need for a healthy community. other MMORPGs currently do this the way old school WoW used to, by having designated places to gather and do stuff.

API data shows about 40% of the playerbase clears Heroic raids consistently. The overall %% of the playerbase that raids is 60%. Amusingly, this means people who do LFR or Normal - but not Heroic - are outnumbered 2-to-1 by people who clear Heroic.
Heroic has always been the default raid difficulty (remember, it used to be called Normal) and is done by the largest plurality of the playerbase.

I have to agree, you need to stop listening to what streamers say…
Asmon may have done all of the stuff in game (I wouldn’t know really, I found him to be a loud mouthed over grown punk…so couldn’t stand to watch him more than a cple minutes…) BUT, he is in NO WAY any kind of expert on community anything…period.
But, I’ll bite anyways…
The 'community" is comprised of people, from IRL society. Today’s society is what is ‘fractured’ & broken.
People do not raise their kids with a good basis of how to treat others…NOW it’s all about me me me me me, and they do not care what you or anyone else thinks,wants, or needs. They will do, whatever it takes, be it lie,cheat or steal, to get what they want, and they will be just as nasty & hateful as they want, because no one has taught them any better.
If one of my kids EVER talked to someone, the way I see some do in game…I would beat that a@! until they couldn’t sit for a week. (no, I never beat my kids, but I did in fact test that @!! when it needed it…and no, I do not for a single second feel bad about that) Know what? My kids are both in their later 30’s…they have decency, and respect for others. They work hard, and have good hearts, help people when they can.
Again…'community" is comprised of people…PEOPLE is they problem…not the game
