They should have just disabled join in progress unless you specify that BG specifically from the list. But what do I know…I’ve only played video games that have queue times for 90% of my video game life.
Huh, now I’m wondering. I wonder if people are being held in reserve to instantly backfill a match that threatens to start with too few people.
I doubt Blizzard would have put that much thought or effort into it though.

In all honestly though, I think Gnome is better then undead for a mage. Thats just my opinion though. But I DID hate WotF when i was ranking my shadow priest through Vanilla.
I had suggested a few times they have all AV games start on a rolling timer, such as every 5 minutes, so that multiple games pop at once to allow randomly assigning games to people throughout the queue. I wonder if they did something along those lines.

This is a issue STRICTLY related to PvP servers.
Don’t conflate it with the premade mess in AV. These are two completely separate issues.
No Raylene. It affects everyone because they are Xrealm BG’s If PVP and PVE were separated you can make that argument. But they are not. On most of the PVP servers there are more UNDEAD players than the entire Alliance side combined.

What you do is, turn the water on to get it hot before the match ends. Also take off all your clothes beforehand.
Then, the second it’s over, queue up, check your queue time, sprint to the shower and get it done.
The queue might pop before you’re done, but if you factor that in, you have an extra 90 seconds to click it before it expires.
So if you can time it out right and do this in around 4 minutes, you’re golden. With more practice, you’ll develop an internal clock and know exactly how much time to budget for each step in the process.
I’ve been working on honing my queue efficiency skills for weeks now. Take it from a pro.
(Come to think of it… if you can shower in 4 minutes, you could probably just do it while in AV without going afk too lol)
