3 Million gold DISAPPEARED pulling it out of warband bank, no help from GM's

Guess it’s time for another bump.

I’m here! I’m bumping with you, friend. This whole situation is just… so disappointing I don’t even have the right word to describe it.

So 3 million gold vanished in thin air by a glitch? Then they refused to give it back? I hope you can get your 3 million gold back. That is a lot of gold. I would be very furious too if support refused to help.

I lost a million, it still stings.

I wonder if it’s at all related to other disappearing things. Like the crate ship announcing, being seen flying, and then just vanishing. Also for a bump.

This happened around the time where auctions disappeared. I posted the 3 million engineering mount and it went missing and to this day (4 month now), Blizzard has not bothered solving the issue. I opened so many tickets I lost count… Gms declare themselves incompetent and the bug report dudes have stated on the page where you report that they do not reply back.

How is this a way a company should work? I don’t know. I have tons of gold but 3 million is not something you can do in a day or two. I find some of the gms response very out of touch. One time they send me to protest to wowhead.

During all this time a lot of minor patches have come out, all full of bugs. Some of which have been really gamebreaking like classes breaking raids and m+. And of course a 90 usd fomo mount. There is no quality control for this game anymore, which is dishearting because I do not want to invest time in such a game. It surely feels like milking the playerbase as much as they can while it lasts and only caring about money. Blizzard if ppl leave you lose moneyyy.

Still being ghosted months later?

I miss the days when GMs would actually get in the game and do something.
Feels like we’re stuck with pre-scripted responses or AI chatbots.

Last time I got actual genuine help from a GM was in mists of pandaria. The only responses nowadays are completely automated “TOO BAD TOO SAD” as a first response. Then you escalate it for a human to look at, get trolled by some intern who has never played wow, then escalate again until someone finally shows some understanding of your issue, and has no power to fix it. Then get sent to the forums.

My recent issue is with Siege of Boralus’ final boss right now, on NORMAL difficulty, it drops the WRONG iLvl loot. It should be dropping iLvl 325 like every other normal boss in the game.

I explained the issue in detail with a screen shot, and the first response was a GM trying to mansplain warband loot. Despite having a screenshot of the SOULBOUND item, and a full description of the problem. They tried to say it was a bonus warband item of lower iLvl (which normal dungeons don’t drop btw lmao).

I escalated the issue, and the 2nd GM 100% understood the issue, apologised for the first GM frustrating me, and said it is 100% bugged and not behaving as expected and to report it to the devs in game / on forums. He didnt have the power to just award me the loot at the correct ilvl, or change the piece I got. (this was a drop for a 59 twink).

I am going to (timidly) remove everything from my warband bank and store locally in character banks. All these reports of guild banks and warband banks losing items and currency give me 0 faith in blizzard’s systems/data bases / backups.

It’s disgusting how buggy The War Within has been. Dragonflight was better than this.

Even this week, December 20 hotfixes:

  • Khaz Algar Safari now awards Waxwick as intended.
I got the achievement, but didn’t get the pet post hotfix.

They don’t even test their fixes. It’s pathetic. For something we pay $20 a month for to maintain, they should do a LOT better at MAINTAINING their game. They should respect our time BEFORE 65% of us quit AGAIN like in shadowlands.
