Since early access. At what point should we expect compensation? Why are we on the hook for service outages?

maintenance is expected every week, the thing thats more annoying is the poor performance with blizz extending the maintenance every single week since EA, every xpac they are getting worse at maintenance when they should be getting better at it

Giving me a day of “FREE” service back is a slap in the face and disrespectful. I dont need compensation… i need a game that WORKS AS ADVERTISED.

let me ask you this? what do you expect for compensation? serious question… what do you truly expect? cause break it down and see how much compensation you deserve to get for 2-3 hours of extensions. if you are that hard up for cash… gaming probably isnt what you should be doing!
TBH, I agree with OP. Before, maintenance used to be 1 hour TOPS. WTH has it been 4+ hours since release of expansion? I understand there was an issue with the AH for a while, but I believe this has been resolved? And now, on top of that, it gets pushed back a lot too. First it’s until 10 PST, and when you check at 10 PST, it becomes 12. Every single week. Giving credit for time would be nice as it’s time we pay for and cannot play. When the standard for a long time has been 1 hour.

That’s a really terrible way to look at a business transaction.
Even if you had 5 hours of maintenance per week, the servers would still have a 97% uptime.
There is 168 hours in a week.
You will live. Stop throwing a hissy fit.

This is not an outage. THis is maintenance… You know the thing that happens EVERY TUESDAY SINCE THE GAME CAME OUT!

Calm it down bud.
It’s part of the EULA you agree to when playing.
It’s what it takes to keep the game at it’s current price point.
They could have 0 maintenance trivially, but it would make the game some multiple more expensive.
I get it that the forums become the metagame with outages, but the number of people demanding compensation that adds up to literally pennies is hilarious
like yo, drink one less can of monster energy a year and you’ve got all the “compensation” blizzard would owe you for a decade
