28 minute queue for Eye of the Storm
Bring back horde vs horde Battlegrounds
Queing for last week quite often thoughout the day highest Iāve seen is 18 min. Even than 28 min is completely acceptable as a outlier likly at odd times. Back in tbc que times for pvp was in the 20-30 min range speaking as someone who played horde back than. As such that is hardly evidence of a issue. Times in excess of what it was back than would be a issue like we were seeing with 1 hour ques when they were not uncommon. As it stands right now the avg que for horde seams to be around 15-20 min from my experience and that is completely within the acceptable range. Esp as you que for two or three bgs at once and as such the down time between bgs is really about 2-3 min.
Unless the problem of 1 hour ques return donāt see a reason to make a change to how it was in the past meaning no hvh.
15-20 min is not acceptable when there is a solution to make it much faster. Nobody enjoys sitting in queue and comparing to 15 years ago is absurd. Why are people sympathizers for long wait times??
Now it says my queue for Eye of the Storm is 29 minutesā¦
There being a solution is not a reason to add a solution. Tbc is made to be a replica weāre possible of the old tbc. I donāt remember hvh bgs back in the day and do remember 15-30 min ques.
As such itās rather clear which one dosent belong.
Changes were needed are fine when there is a issue. Something matching what happened back in the day is not a issue. People like me that picked horde did so knowing we would have longer ques in the 15-30 min range as that was how it was in tbc. 1 hour ques was a issue as that is quite a bit away from how it was but we are no longer seeing those least havenāt seen anyone able to show one in the recent weeks since Allie bags.
Imagine playing any other game with queue times of almost half an hour, literally no one would play. I wanna play a match on Overwatch, let me just wait half an hour, yeah no.
This is not any other game. This is a replica of a old game. We are playing a old game not a modern game with modern covenence and bending over backwards to make it easier on the player. If you want that go play retail.
And yes I can think of many other old games with just as long or longer waits between games being common as it was quite common in that time period.
Oh gotcha, so you actually want the game to not function properly, and hemorrhage players, good plan for the longevity of TBCC
Itās not 15 years ago, neither is this game now. There are differences like the hunter macro not working and many other things. This isnāt a game breaking item. I 100% believe you are in the minority given the fact that we all know HvH is coming as it has been ātestedā twice. There is no stopping it, and quite frankly, I welcome the change given the fact the honor grind is ridiculous as-is.
No we donāt know itās comming out and if it dose we donāt know how it will come up. It is vary likly if it comes out it will only trigger when que times are greater than a set number and that number we do not know.
As for the differences yes there are and every change makes it less tbc hense why we donāt want additional ones as every one adds up more and more to not be playing tbc.
As the other one above blaming long ques for losing players those are players going that donāt want to play tbc. Those that want to play tbc want to play it as much as it was as they can. This includes all the little inconvenience like having to walk to stones and ques that match the time. Yes hour long ques was a issue 20-30 min ones are not.
We can agree to disagree. Iāll be happy when they finally deploy the HvH BGās.
It is already too late. TBCC is not a return to the Classic version of the game. It is Retail 2.0.
I have officially given up on this being a return to WoW the way it was in 2007. Rather, TBCC is a different version of retail.
This game is already hemorrhaging players. People wanted the old tBC what we got is not what I played back in the day. If you donāt have time for 30 minute ques maybe this game isnāt for you. If you donāt like to level alts, this game is not for you. If you need questie to do simple quests, this game is not for you. We want what we had, not what you lazy entitled instant gratification losers want. Not every game is for everyone.
Truth be told. The dream and goal of Classic is lost.
Classic was supposed to be WoW, unchanged and unmodified (as much as possible), from how it was when released. It is what the āwe want Vanillaā crowd asked for.
What happened to Classic and TBCC to an even greater extent, is the same thing that ruined retail. Blizzard forgot who their audience was.
The Classic versions should have never had changes. It was never supposed to be for the masses, it was a special game, requested by a small group of players. It should have stayed that way.
What we have now is FrankenWoW, overrun by the retail masses.
Iāve got to say this is one of the worst comments I have seen on the forums, and congrats to you for crafting it.
Best way to keep the game alive that you love, is being condescending, and telling everyone the game isnāt for them, and that they should quit for critiquing anything
the horde had 15-30 min queues in classic. where was the outrage then?
What is so condescending about the truth? Hit you in the feels did it?
Itās Monday morning, people are at work. What do you expect?
30 minutes when no one is on is pretty good.
I have mutliple alts, and enjoy the game, all I said was they can improve on half hour queue times, jesus christ man. Classic community is so toxic
The game is functioning properly and as intended. Just because you donāt like how it works doesnāt mean itās not working.
