2.8 Million Gold Per T3 Set! Absurd Pricing! Predatory!

If you have gold. If not. Money to buy tokens. That’s not reliable. Even if I spend the time to farm it and get all the pieces I’m still blocked from getting it because of the gold sink.

It literally is. :dracthyr_uwahh_animated:

even when the item need is expensive we can have a 100% guarantee to get the items and not fight the BMAH i just needed 6 undeathmetals i have the shoulders and you get the bracers item for free

I think your missing the point. It doesn’t have to be a huge gold sink.

People without a lot of gold can’t reliably get the transmogs.

No, I understand the situation; some people aren’t happy that they weren’t catered to, and that’s understandable, but they went with a compromise, which I think is ideal.

True, spending usd to sign up on third party website and buying wow tokens is free. Until you realize how classic wow raid bosses are just loot piñatas in that version of the game. Mashing sinister strike and staying in auto range is hard, oh and watch out for the fire too!

I also think you forgot that you could eliminate the little difficulty there was just by playing and running the content in tbc. That sounds pretty free to me.

Right. You understand the situation. But not the point I’m making. They didn’t have to design it this way. They choose to.

The most ideal way of implantation would have been added the items back to the bosses or restoring the Instance as it was. But the choose to make it a gold sink. They didn’t have to do that.

They could have made it a memory of naxx and just swapped the loot tables to the old ones. But they made it a gold sink instead.

Given the cost of the vendor mat, I will never participate in this part of the game, which is sad because I love crafting. I can only assume that it is either a gold sink to try and drain some of the excessive amounts held in some player banks, or a means of tempting people to buy tokens. As I am not one of the first and would no go the second route, I will never take part in it.

It disappoints me that Blizzard would use this sort of predatory design, I have to wonder what lies ahead for the game if this is considered a good idea.

its either this or go to the BMAH the Dreadnaught’s Battlegear is the most expensive mog with the warlock and the rogues

So everyone can kill the loot piñatas and get participation rewards? I like the point you bring up, but Naxx is outdated and would be cleared stupidly easy. I think it woulda been cool to get a naxx themed mage tower with new or altered fights.

that’s less than what i have paid for my warlock set pieces (and i am still short the gloves)

Yeah. T3 is not that special. The only reason it’s desirable is because how rare it is. Not because it’s good.

You literally call any old raid boss a loot piñatas for participation rewards. The only difference with naxx is you have to pay 2.8million gold.

reminds me of the anniversary event they did for the 15-year anniversary in molten core.

god that was awful.

No Naxx 40 wasn’t any different. In Classic Naxx was a loot piñata and even more so in TBC classic.

No reason for T3 should be this expensive.

Furthermore Blizzards logic to those who bought TCG items for millions of gold on the AH and BMAH was tough luck when they are being Prime and Twitch drops. Same should be the case for T3.

They should have created 2 paths, the first would be the ‘‘fast’’ path which is by spending the 2.8m gold, the second would get it over time, maybe taking 2-3 months to complete a single set, many were asking for the return of this T3 because they don’t have enough gold to fight in BMAH nor the time to get that gold, this “return” is absolutely useless, it doesn’t solve the real problem and only pleases those who got T3 to give them more gold, those who bought T3 in BMAH did it at their own risk, nobody was forcing them nor should they have the right to say that others should not be able to get it like any other tier set in this game, T3 is too overrated precisely because of being in BMAH, like CA or Atiesh, some of them are visually beautiful, but they are not still different from the molten core tier set, CA is not very different from Karazhan’s Gorehowl, even from the new Gorehowl of this patch, and Atiesh is no different than any other legendary in the game.

All these things should have been back in the game years ago and should have been obtained as it was originally, making Naxx40 with all your pjs every week, like you do with any raid transmog in this game, without having special deals or anything.

Except most people never even made it to naxx, let alone cleared it which is why the raid was brought back for WotLK
