2.8 Million Gold Per T3 Set! Absurd Pricing! Predatory!

You can earn 2.8m in 2-3 months.

Ya and in Classic Vanilla it was shown how easy Naxx 40 was. The main reason most people didn’t go through Naxx was because TBC was announced and coming out soon. And the reason they re-used Naxx 40 for WotLK was because their Nerubian Raid they were planning fell through and was salvaged into a dungeon.

Truth of the matter is, if that Nerubian raid actually did came out we would still very much likely have Naxx 40 in the game today.

If you mean with professions then let me tell you that it is not the same in all realms, and anyway it is still a bad excuse to defend that there is only BMAH or spend 2.8m to get T3, I still don’t understand why they didn’t create one alternative way to obtain it only by doing the band for months without having to spend so much gold in the process, at the end of the day only those who make millions of gold per month are the ones who win, and normal players will have to resign ourselves to not doing said activity because it is exclusive for people with enough money to buy tokens or goblins who know how to get gold efficiently and are 24/7 in the game.

Classic naxx was nothing like original naxx.

It was though, the only difference between then and now is that players are alot better now and we have far better and more advanced resources.

That’s right, og naxx was a hard raid for hard gamers. :sunglasses:

No, it wasn’t… worse internet, worse screen quality…

This makes it easier now.

Still the same raid though.

Interesting.

No, because not the same engine.

Enjoy, maybe they could provide some proof.

If youre referring to when they re-released classic then yeah, of course because:

  1. classic was ~solved. We all knew what the best talents were, what the best gear is and where to get it, how all the fights work, etc…
  2. We are also better players now than players back then, as is evidenced by how vastly more complex raid and dungeon mechanics are compared to stuff when the game originally launched

Am not privy to this “planned nerubian raid” you’re referring to.

Also, I recallt here being a pretty significant gold investment needed to be able to get into naxx (quest and/or gear related, I forget) and people were broke in classic. it would take people forever just to earn enough for regular riding (let alone epic)

However, there was a VERY small percentage of the playerbase that actually got into naxx and cleared it prior to BC launching (probably less than 1%) so if it was some big loot pinata that everyone steamrolled, wouldnt make much sense to bring it back

Your opinion, you’re gonna tell me frostfire and dreadknaught are bad sets?

Seems in line with BMAH. The only problem I have with the current way of getting the sets is that crafting any item will take the same amount of mats. T3 bracers you can’t see are not worth 140k.

the entrance fee for nax

Eh we still found out stuff even in WotLK classic that we didn’t know.

It was brought up in dev interviews and other media along with an underground zone and mounts that walked on walls.

Naxx entry was free if you were exalted with Argent Dawn, but was a bit pricey if you were honored and less if revered.

And there was a material cost to getting the gear but it wasn’t too bad.

The major reason was TBC was announced on 10/28/2005 and Naxx was released on 6/20/2006 and launching a few months later. Most people simply didnt do Naxx because they didn’t think it was worth it to spend that time on gear that would be obsolete in a few months.

We also had a similar issue with Sunwell because it was released after WotLK was announced.

Getting revered is super easy, just do the Fiona Caravan quests. After you finish the chain it will instantly make you revered. Takes about 30 mins~

The quest starts at the border to both plaguelands.

We were talking about getting Argent Dawn Rep in the past, in actual Vanilla where it took a bit to grind.

Not about getting rep currently.

It gives you that rep.

Fiona wasn’t in Vanilla WoW…

nah you’re right, I misread the post
